2XKO – How to Activate Training Mode During Match Search

By Kirthana KJanuary 21, 20262 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • Training Mode is only available for Ranked lobbies.
    • Once here, head into any cabinet to start a match search.
    • You will find your queue once you navigate to the pause menu.

It isn’t easy for beginners to jump right into 2XKO, which is why you might be looking for a training arena to test out various character builds. Luckily, with the 1.1.1 patch update, you get to use the Training Mode while waiting out in one particular lobby.

    What Does Training Mode Do?

Since I was new to 2XKO, I had a tough time trying to learn the ins and outs of the LoL fighting game. Luckily, the Training grounds are a great way to experiment with different builds and team comps to help figure out the best playstyle. Additionally, the settings within this mode can be tweaked to our liking, making it the first course of action when entering the game.

How to Enter Training Mode in Ranked Lobby

    • In Patch 1.1.1, you can now queue in for Training Mode while match searching.
    • After heading into a Ranked Lobby, you get to enter Training Mode by walking into an empty cabinet.
    • This automatically sets you up in a queue, and you can check your position from the pause menu.
    • Once set up, you will be matched with a bot for training purposes. This helped me test out different characters, utilize different fuses, and also check out the new Chromas.
    • After your set is over, you could directly return to Training mode or exit to the Ranked Lobby.
