How to Get Treasure Maps in Ashes of Creation
You need to craft a completed Treasure Map by locating Faded Maps during exploration and using them at the Scribing menu. Once you have the completed map, interact with your quest log to find and activate the map. This will circle out the location of the treasure on your world map.
High-tier Treasure Maps will offer more concise markings of the treasure locations, while low-tier treasure maps will offer a wider marked area to show all possible dig sites for the treasure.
How Do Faded Maps Work
If you have a Faded Map in your inventory, open up the Scribing menu and scroll down to find the Treasure Map tab. Select the incomplete Treasure Map from here, then check the crafting materials list.
For the materials, besides a Faded Map, you will also require Crude Paper and Red Ink. The higher the quality of these materials, the higher the tier your Treasure Map will be, making it easier to pinpoint the dig site.
How to Get Excavation Kits
Head over to the Arcane Engineering table to find the Excavation Kit under the Consumables menu. This will show you the required materials to craft one Excavation Kit, which includes:
- 1x Zinc Fragment
- 2x Wood
- 1x Copper Fragment
