Hello Kitty Island Adventure 3.0 includes new questlines to help build your home, obtain cornerstones, and work on your friendship level with the many citizens of the island. Now, you don’t have to visit each friend individually to hand over gifts, as you can build mailboxes outside their homes and leave presents for them from time to time. But first, you need to complete a quest to unlock the mailbox in the game.

How to Get Mailboxes
Initially, you can build a mailbox after building your first home in Home Island. For this, you need to collect several Cornerstones, create your home, and build a mailbox as well. This mailbox works differently than character mailboxes, as your special mailbox will collect everything that used to be stored inside Collection Chests. If you had paid attention, you would have noticed that collection chests are no longer available, and you will find every item in your mailbox instead.
While this works for your home mailbox, the mailboxes for other characters work a bit differently. While rebuilding all the structures, you will get the option to build their mailboxes too. When you interact with it, you can add gifts directly into the mailbox, which is a much easier and quicker process than visiting each friend individually. You can create your first companion mailbox during the Hello Kitty’s Mailbox quest.
How to Use Mailboxes
Visit any mailbox in the overworld and interact with it. Over here, you will get a list of items you own on the right, and the empty mailbox on the left. You can select up to three gifts to place into the mailbox per day, but you can reset the gifting option if you own Friendship Blossoms or Friendship Bouquets. This will give you more chances to send gifts to your favorite character. You can also use this tactic to farm Cornerstones as well.
The best thing about mailboxes is you can keep multiple of the same item in your friend’s mailbox, so you don’t have to keep crafting the gift item each day. Even if you place several items, they will still pick out only three per day. That way, you don’t need to keep a tab on who you have sent gifts to every day. To get your return gifts, however, you need to wait an entire day and check your mailbox the next day to find them.

Is there a more efficient way to gift friends without the mailbox?
The only other way to hand over gifts to everyone is to visit them individually. You could also visit the Dance Hall or Comedic Club on Friday and Saturday to find everyone gathered here and hand over all the gifts in one go.
