How to Find the Royal Steed
The Royal Steed spawns east of the Ravens town. You need to make your way to the outskirts to wait for it to spawn. There are no interactable items or any way to trigger the horse to appear, so all you need is patience for this one. First, set your time to around 8 AM, then visit the exact location that shows up when you click on the Capture Location option in the pets codex. You need to wait on the dirt road and keep an eye out for a wild horse that will race past you.
Pretty soon, a white steed will come racing down the path. You need to intercept it and quickly attack it several times. There is a high chance that the horse will either run away or die in the process. And the only way to make it respawn is to revisit the same area at 8 AM and wait. I recommend waiting on the dirt path itself so it’s easier to tackle the horse when it appears.
How to Capture the Royal Steed
This is where things start getting tricky. The Royal Steed is quick to vanish into thin air if you take too long to capture it. The horse doesn’t really have any attacks except for a back kick if you get too close. I would recommend stunning it when you find it, then using combo attacks quickly to bring its HP down. Then, use the Radiant Potion of Charm on it. Keep several Radiant Potions in hand before trying to capture the Royal Steed, as it has 70% resistance.
