How to Find the Mafia
You can’t just walk around and go looking for the Mafia, but they will always come over to find you instead. Keep checking outside your park regularly to find a shady man with the Mafia namecard on top of their head. If you speak to them, you get the option to listen to what they have to say, or ignore them and walk away. If you choose to ignore them initially, then you won’t hear about their offer, and they won’t return for a very long time.
If you continue your conversation with the Mafia, they will tell you that they have a random sum of money that they are willing to give you. The amount they offer will vary, depending on how far you are into the game. The more progress you have made, the higher the amount will be. During the early game, it will be tempting to accept their offer, since the amount they give out might be more than your earnings.
Should You Accept the Money or Refuse
If you accept the offer, he will be glad to hand over the money. For now, all is well, and you can purchase more items to keep your park running. But eventually, you will find him again after a few in-game days, and he wants his money back with interest. You can either choose to pay him or refuse payment.
If you refuse payment, he will leave you alone. But later on, you will find several mafia members appear at your park and vandalise the place. This would probably be the worst outcome, since you need to spend a lot more on repairs and building your park back up.
In my opinion, you should always turn down the offer from the get-go. Accepting the monetary offer will not do you any good, and you will probably be plunged into even more debt if you do accept the money. Rather, you should work on improving your park and marketing strategies to bring in more customers and increase traffic to your park.
