Waterpark Simulator – All Staff and How to Hire

    By Kirthana KAugust 3, 2026Updated:August 3, 20264 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • Like most amusement parks, you will require staff members to monitor the day-to-day activities.
    • You can unlock staff very early in the game, and you can pick various staff depending on the jobs they do.
    • Hiring staff will make it easier to manage your park while you are not around.

Since you are running a successful waterpark in Waterpark Simulator, you have to manage most of the tasks on your own. But you don’t have to be alone in your adventure, as you can hire staff if you are playing solo. There are several staff types who will perform various tasks in the game.

    Waterpark Simulator – Staff Overview

    StaffJob Role
Ticket vendorWorks on the cash register to hand out tickets to customers
Food VendorCan be assigned to the food stalls around the park
JanitorHelps in cleaning up trash and debris
LifeguardKeeps watch over the visitors while they are in the pool
    HandymanRequired for regular park maintenance
SecurityHelps maintain order in the park

    How to Hire Staff

To start hiring staff, you need to earn research points by playing the game and leveling up. Then, visit the park’s research tree and select the Attractions, Parks, and Maintenance tabs. If you scroll through the table, you will find several unlocks for the various staff that you can hire. You need to unlock the previous skills before you can reach the staff unlocks.

Most staff in the early tiers of the research tree will just require research points, but some of the late game staff will require other materials too, like cash. Initially, you will just get 4 slots to hire staff, but you can increase staff slots by heading into the Maintenance skill tree and selecting the Hiring Level Up option.

    How to Find Staff

Press the Tab key to bring up your tablet, then select the Hire option at the bottom. This will bring up a list of employees you can hire. Select each one to check their job profile and their daily wage requirement. If you don’t like the selection given, you can press the refresh icon in the top right corner.

But I won’t recommend doing this, as this will take up research points to refresh. Instead, start a new day and check your tablet again to find new staff to hire.

    Best Staff to Hire First

During my playthrough, I found some staff more important than others. Here is the priority order that I followed while hiring staff.

    1. Janitor – Hiring a janitor helped with regular park cleanliness while I took over other tasks like taking care of stalls and the ticket counter.
    2. Handyman – This option ties with the Janitor, as it became easier to maintain and build my rides with the handyman around. Will suggest getting the Janitor and Handyman as early as you can.
    3. Food vendor – The next best hire to have if you have unlocked food stalls, as having a food vendor will free up some of your time to do other things and explore.
    4. Lifeguard – I had a hard time rescuing visitors as I progressed through the game and had a larger number of people visiting my park. Having a Lifeguard on duty helped ease that tension.
    5. Ticket vendor – The ticket vendor is a great pick for early game, but after unlocking the Automatic Ticket Machine, I could take over the counter myself. It’s still nice to have one around if you want to relax.
    6. Security – This hire is great for late game to chase away unruly visitors to my park.

    FAQs

    How do I fire staff?

Press the Tab key and select the Hire tab, then select the Manage option at the top. This will give you an overview of all your hired staff, and you can click on the Fire option below to get rid of them.

Can I hire more staff than what I am allocated?

Yes, you can hire one extra staff member beyond your allocation, but this will cost you in taxes.

I don’t have enough money to pay my staff, what do I do?

You can take loans, fire staff, or speak to the mafia to get some extra cash to pay them.

My staff don’t work, what do I do?

Take a look at the top of the screen to get an overview of all your hired staff. If their stamina bar has depleted, then they won’t work until the day refreshes. You can always fire and hire new staff if you require something done urgently.
