In The Division Resurgence, there are several hidden SHD crates that you need to find if you wish to upgrade your weapons. You just need a keen eye to spot all the crates, which shouldn’t be too hard if you know the map like the back of your hand.

All SHD Crate Locations
To make things easier, I started my trip from the Pennsylvania Plaza, then worked my way clockwise through Tenderloin, Chelsea, Hudson Yards, and beyond. If you wish, you can refer to the map above to know where each crate is placed and work your way from your nearest location.
SHD Crate Location #1
From HQ, go southwest to a large red truck. Go behind it, enter the alley next to parked cars, and look up. Jump the gate by the building and use the wall ladder to reach the crate.
SHD Crate Location #2
This crate is located northwest of the plaza. You will spot a gate barricading the crates beyond it. One of the gates is broken, and a forklift is put in its place. Climb over the forklift and climb up the large crates in front of you to reach the second crate.
SHD Crate Location #3
From crate #2, head east to a fashion store on your left. Enter the next alley, then use the nearby truck to reach the platform with the crate.
SHD Crate Location #4
Head south towards the border of Tenderloin and make your way east to the corner of the area. There may be a generator puzzle here that you can choose to ignore or activate. If you look beyond the generator, right in front of the large park signboard, you will see the fourth crate on top of the large red crate.
SHD Crate Location #5
This will be a bit further away from your previous location. Head all the way southwest towards Chelsea. Look around for a park with some fountains in it, right beside the liquor store. Behind the park is an alley; enter it and keep an eye out for the 5th crate on your right. It should be up on the roof, and you will find a ladder to take you up to the crate directly.
SHD Crate Location #6 (Unreachable)
This crate is currently bugged, but you can check out the location, so you will know where to find this crate. From the 5th crate, head northeast until you find the Apparel store and some parked police cars. Enter the building between these two and walk towards the exit.
Turn around and look above the exit’s archway to find the 6th crate on the left side corner. You can use the crates on the left to get up on the rafter and reach the crate, but this area is bugged out at the moment.
SHD Crate Location #7
This crate is just west of the first crate. Once you reach the location, look around for a construction site beyond the Cera Supply Route signboard. This board is to the right of the Police Station. Enter the site and keep an eye out for a generator on your left. Enter the alley beside the generator to find a large green truck. Get on top of the truck to find chest #7.
SHD Crate Location #8
This crate is to the west of crate #7. Head under the bridges and look for a flight of stairs taking you up towards the railway. Follow the rail track for a while until you spot a footbridge on your right. The crate is just up on the bridge.
SHD Crate Location #9
For this one, make your way southwest from your previous location. You will eventually reach an abandoned gas station. Go south from the gas station and stick to your right. There is a fenced area with a large red digger inside. Head inside this area and make your way behind the digger. Look up at the building platform behind the digger to find the 9th crate.
SHD Crate Location #10
You now need to make a really long trek towards the edge of Hudson’s Yard. To reach this place, head north from chest #9 and then go west. Keep going just before you reach the edge of the map. You will spot a Cera toll booth and a large white truck parked some distance away. Turn around the corner of the toll booth and climb up the large blue crates. The 10th crate is up on the roof.
SHD Crate Location #11
Again, stick to the edge of the map while going north towards Hell’s Kitchen. You will soon reach an outpost where one of the generator puzzles is. Look diagonally to the upper right side behind the green tent to find the 11th crate.
SHD Crate Location #12
Go east from crate 11 and go across the main road. You will eventually reach a park on your left. Beside the slides is a ladder, go up and continue up the roofs to find the crate.
SHD Crate Location #13
The final crate is found in the southern section of Times Square. Go east from crate #12 and travel south until you reach a corner with several buses parked on the road. Go beyond the buses and continue down the road. Check your left side to find a Theater signboard. Once you find it, in the upper left corner, there is a platform with crate #13. You can climb on top of the black van parked near the theater to reach it.

What do these containers hold?
These crates will always contain upgrade chips for your preferred weapon, and you will also find other items like Phoenix credits.
When can I unlock the sixth crate?
There are no updates on when the sixth crate will be accessible, so you might have to wait for a patch update and check then.
I can’t reach some of the crates. What do I do?
Look around the area for ladders or vehicles you can use to climb on top of and reach the crate, as most crate locations are easily accessible.
