In WoW Midnight, you get to unlock a new set of achievements that will reward you with points. Each main achievement offers several mini achievements, and one of those is the Thrill of the Chase achievement. While this achievement might seem complicated to implement, the entire process is pretty simple.

How to Get the Thrill of the Chase Achievement
This achievement was one of the toughest achievements I had to unlock. Not only did I have to get chased by the Hungering Presence, but I also had to keep its gaze upon me for a full minute. The main issue for me was to figure out the right path to take that would keep this creature on my back without it coming to hurt me. Follow my path below, for the easiest way to get this achievement.
Start from the large rock in Voidstorm. This rock is located between Nexus Point Antius, The Ingress, and Stormarion Citadel. The location I used is also marked on the map above. After reaching the top, face northeast. The Hungering Presence is known to spawn somewhere close to the Voidspire.
Ensure that you have these skills with you, and none of them in cooldown:
- Skyward Ascent
- Whirling Surge
- Surge Forward
These skills kept my mount afloat, and I could also gain a substantial boost forward if I felt the Hungering Presence get too close to me. Once ready, get on any flying mount and aim towards the floating pillar to the right side of the Voidspire. Take flight and keep it steady while flying over to that general direction. Keep in mind that flying below the pillar will not summon the Hungering Presence. Stay right above the pillar at all times and keep flying in a straight line.
Once the Hungering Presence spawns, use Skyward Ascent thrice, followed by Whirling Surge and Surge Forward in turns. The timing between using Whirling Surge and Surge Forward should be every 2 – 3 seconds or so. Keep an eye on your skill charges and use them sparingly while staying ahead of the creature. Continue flying in a straight line while making a beeline for the top of the pillar. Keep at it until 60 seconds is up, which will unlock the achievement.

I keep falling off the map if I fly in a straight line. What do I do?
If that happens, then try to fly around Voidspire instead of flying towards the pillar instead. You need to stay afloat enough to keep the attention of the Hungering Presence on you.
What does this achievement unlock?
The Thrill of the Chase achievement is part of the Yelling into the Voidstorm set of achievements, and completing the entire set will reward you with 25 achievement points.
Is there an easier way to get this achievement unlocked?
The easiest way to get this achievement is to fly as high above as possible and glide ahead to keep the Hungering Presence on you. You won’t require any skills here, as long as you stay high in the air while gliding.
