In Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, you’ll find yourself looking for multiple Yellow Fragments used to create a Yellow Tablets. These Fragments are used on specific pedestals at the Shrine of Mysteries in Estard to unlock different islands of the Past and Present in the “Yellow Continent”.

Every Yellow Fragment in Prologue

1. Shrine of Mysteries (Present)

You’ll obtain the first Yellow Fragment in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined when you first visit the Shrine of Mysteries. After talking to the King, head to the Shrine of Mysteries and interact with the statue there, and you’ll get the first Yellow Fragment.

2. Estard (Present)

Next, make your way to Estard and follow the Underground Path. Head to Cliffside Dwelling, where Dermot is located in Basement Level 1. Talk to Dermot to obtain a key to access another trial, then return to the Underground Path and open the door on your left using the given key. This will take you to the Estard Underground Path – Trial Room Light Puzzle.

To solve this puzzle, move around the statues to their corresponding locations such that their shadows form a specific pattern matching the symbol on the wall. Use the light source to check out the pattern on the wall, then use the statues to create a shadow that matches it. After solving the puzzle, stand on the pressure plate on the stairs and open the way forward.

You need to fight two Tribulators as the second part of the trial. Since you’re still in the prologue, it’s almost impossible to die to this boss. Once you’ve taken care of them, you’ll obtain the second Yellow Fragment at the top of a platform.

3. Rainbow Cove (Present)

Return to Estard and talk to Pike at Pike’s House. After the cutscene ends, you’ll be tasked with collecting three Empty Bottles.

• The first bottle is outside his home,
• the second bottle is near the church, and
• the last bottle is near the entrance to the area. Once you’ve collected all three, leave Estard and head to Rainbow Cove.

Inside Rainbow Cove, you’ll meet Uncle Pike once again near the shore. Interact with him and fill up the Empty Bottles with rainbow water. Talk to him again, and he’ll clear up the path to the next Trial Room at Rainbow Cove. This is where you’ll encounter the Cave Puzzle.

To solve this puzzle, move the pillars inside the holes on the ground to stop the water from blocking the entrance. When the water stops flowing, the door to the Treasure Room will be unlocked. Head inside the Treasure Room to find the third Yellow Fragment resting at the top of the stairs on a stone platform.

4. Pilchard Bay (Present)

Next, head to Pilchard Bay and interact with Pollock in Home Sweet Home. He’ll gift you the final Yellow Fragment in the prologue on his return from fishing.

Every Yellow Fragment in L’Arca

1. L’Arca (Present)

There’s only a single Yellow Fragment you can obtain in the L’Arca Region (Present). Visit the Mayor’s House, which is located to the right of the area’s entrance, to trigger a cutscene. Once the cutscene ends, you’ll obtain the Fragment from the small northeast area in the Mayor’s House, between two pots.

Every Yellow Fragment in Frobisher

1. Institute of Automatry (Past)

In the Frobisher Region, reach the Institute of Automatry (Past) and head to the Storeroom. The Yellow Fragment will be waiting for you inside the room near some wooden barrels.

2. Frobisher Town (Present)

This Yellow Fragment is found in Central Frobisher to the west of the Inn. It’ll be easier if you enter Frobisher Town from the southern entrance, since it’ll be the first door to the left at the southern end of the building in front. However, if you’re confused, head to the Central Frobisher room west of the Inn to locate the Fragment.

3. Institute of Automatry (Present)

Next, you need to return to the Institute of Automatry (Present) after the events in Faraday Castle Day for this Fragment. Interact with Ambrose after wrapping up your final task in the Institute of Automatry during the main story to obtain the Yellow Fragment.

Every Yellow Fragment in Roamer Encampment

1. Poolside Cave (Past)

Similar to L’Arca, the Roamer Encampment region also contains a single Fragment. This one is located in the Poolside Cave – Underground Level 3 at the northeastern part of the area. Check your map to pinpoint the exact location of this Fragment, and head to that location to obtain it.

Every Yellow Fragment in Alltrades Abbey

1. Alltrades Abbey (Past)

The first Yellow Fragment in Alltrades Abbey (Past) is obtained after defeating the Cardinal Sin. At Alltrades Abbey – Level 1, interact with Jacqueline, the High Priestess, to receive the Fragment,

2. Alltrades Abbey (Present)

Head to Alltrades Abbey (Present) and talk to Jacqueline, the High Priestess, once again to trigger a cutscene. In the middle of the cutscene, she’ll reward you with the Yellow Fragment.

3. Bandits’ Base (Present)

After you’ve obtained the Fragment from Jacqueline in Alltrades Abbey (Present), head to south of the region to find an NPC on the ground. Interact with him and exit the area to trigger a cutscene, which will spawn a bunch of swagmen. Defeat the enemies, and exit the area to go to the Bandits’ Base.

Approach the base to find the entrance being guarded by two swagmen. To enter the base, you need to answer a top secret question. When given the list of options to choose from, select “Get Lost!” to successfully enter the interior. Inside the base, progress further and interact with The Mighty Pip, the bandit chief.

He’ll challenge you to a battle, after which you need to defeat him in a duel. Once you’re done dealing with him, he’ll give you the final Yellow Fragment in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined as a reward.
