How to Complete Investigating with Jules Quest in Fortnite
When you open your The Elites tab in Fortnite, you will notice a two-week window to complete the Investigating with Jules quest. But at the start, only Stage 1 of 6 will be unlocked. Read on below on how to complete each stage successfully.
Stage 1
The directives of Stage 1 are: Win a Rivalry or reach 10 players remaining to impress the Elites. To successfully complete this, start either a build, non-build, or respawn rumble. Do note that it has to be non-ranked, as ranked modes may not count.

Once you jump into the game, head straight to a Rivalry Board. It will be marked with two white swords clashing on the map. Once there, interact with it to get a rival. Now you need to defeat your rival and secure the rivalry contract from their loot.
If someone else defeated them first, you just need to secure the rivalry contract. If you could not complete either, then you need to stay alive as the last 10 players on the map. Completing any of these objectives will clear Stage 1.
Stage 2

The directives of Stage 2 are: Talk to Jules about the Elites. She will be present in Wonkeeland, at the location marked in the image. Once she finishes her dialogue, Stage 2 will clear for you.
Stage 3

For Stage 3, you need to follow the given directive – Hit opponents while under the effects of a Shard to read the Shard’s energy signature. These shards can be found in the following locations:
- Dark Dominion
- Builder’s Barracks
- Squibbly Shores
- Frigid Fortress
Head over to any of these locations and locate the shards. You need to jump into the shard machine to get under the effects of a Shard. Once you do that, you will see your jump time increasing and a purple ray emitting from you as you float. During this time, you need to damage an opponent to complete Stage 3.
Stage 4

The directives of Stage 4 are: Analyze the Shard’s energy signature in a scanner. Again, you can travel to the same four locations from Stage 3 to complete this. There will be tripod scanners at these locations, which will allow you to interact. After scanning, wait for a few seconds, and get the report to complete Stage 4.
Stage 5

For Stage 5, you need to follow the given directive – Hide in dumpsters to find broken dictation devices. These dumpsters can be found in the following locations:
- Painted Palms
- Battlewood Boulevard
- Ripped Tides
Once at either of these locations, jump into the blue dumpsters to search them. You will receive a message when you jump out of them after searching. You need to do this process twice (can be done in the same dumpster) to complete Stage 5.
Stage 6

For stage 6, the directive is to talk to Jules about the Dark Voyager’s Plans. You need to head over to Wonkeeland again in the same location from Stage 2. After talking, the final stage will be over, and you will have successfully completed the Investigating with Jules quest.
