In WoW Midnight, you get to unlock a new set of achievements that will reward you with points. Each main achievement offers several mini achievements, and one of those is the Thrill of the Chase achievement. While this achievement might seem complicated to implement, the entire process is pretty simple.

How to Get the Thrill of the Chase Achievement
Head over to Voidstorm and get on top of the large rock between the Nexus Point Antius, The Ingress, and Stormarion Citadel. Once you get on top of the rock, face northeast towards the Voidspire. Close to this location is where the Hungering Presence will spawn, and you need to evade its grasp for 60 seconds for the achievement to appear.
To start, get on your flying mount and fly all the way to the floating pillar to the right side of the Voidspire. You need to stay above the pillar at all times for the Hungering Presence to notice you. If you dip below the pillar, then the creature will lose its line of sight on you. Next, you need to make sure that you have the following skills active and ready to use:
- Skyward Ascent
- Whirling Surge
- Surge Forward
To start, get on your mount and fly ahead while using Skyward Ascent. You need to use this skill three times, after which you will get the notification of being chased by a Hungering Presence. Following this, use Whirling Surge and Surge Forward alternatively every few seconds or so.
Keep an eye on your skill charges and use them sparingly while staying ahead of the creature. Continue flying in a straight line while making a beeline for the top of the pillar. Keep at it until 60 seconds is up, which will unlock the achievement.

I keep falling off the map if I fly in a straight line. What do I do?
If that happens, then try to fly around Voidspire instead of flying towards the pillar instead. You need to stay afloat enough to keep the attention of the Hungering Presence on you.
