Pokopia – How to Restore the Water Wheel

By Kirthana KMarch 7, 20262 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • To unlock the Waterwheel Spot Habitat, you are required to power up the waterwheel at Withered Wasteland.
    • You need to dig a pathway through the hill behind the waterwheel to draw water.
    • Unlocking this habitat will increase the sightings of a certain Pokémon.

Your Pokémon in Pokopia require unique habitats to make them function optimally. Unlocking the Waterwheel habitat is a great way to find new Pokémon, but getting the wheel to run in the early game is a bit difficult. There is a way to make things work out in the end, but you need to know the right location to break down walls and draw water.

How to unlock the Waterwheel Spot Habitat

After finding the waterwheel at Withered Wasteland (right by the wooden bridge), walk behind it. First, use Rock Smash on the hill wall. You do not need to reach the end of the passage; you can start smashing the wall on your right about halfway through.

If you reach the end and uncover the opposite side, use Cliff Wall to block the path. Next, continue until you reach a waterlogged area. Hop down and retrace your path, clearing as you go. Finally, lead the water back toward the waterwheel to unlock the Waterwheel Spot Habitat.

    FAQs

How do I power up the second water wheel?

For the second water wheel, you need to construct a channel that will help draw water from the waterfall behind the hill, near the area gate. Then, connect the channel above the pit beside the waterwheel. This will create a waterfall to help the water reach the wheel.

The water disappears into the ground. What do I do?

Check the area around to find any openings or holes and cover them up with blocks to prevent water loss.

What Pokémon will the Waterwheel Spot Habitat attract?

You will get frequent sightings of Prinplup after unlocking the Waterwheel Spot Habitat.
