As you start playing Nioh 3, you begin to encounter enemies with higher stamina and skill. To counter them, you need your own supply of extra healing and elixirs. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can get both early in your gameplay.
How to Improve Healing Efficacy in Nioh 3

When you check your character build, you’ll spot multiple stats you can increase. To focus on healing, you should level up Constitution and Stamina in your build. However, if you want to improve your health and durability faster, one great way to do that is by getting the Secret Skills Text: Panacea Curefast skill. To gain the skill, you need to head over to the enemy base as shown in the image above.
At the enemy base, you’ll encounter ten small-level enemies and one base leader. On defeating the leader, he’ll drop a Bloody Iron Key. This key unlocks the main building of the enemy base, where you can loot chests to collect items.

In the chest, you can find Elixirs too. However, your main goal is to find the Secret Skills Text: Panacea Curefast skill. On finding the scroll, head over to the shrine to learn this skill. The importance of this skill lies in the effect it gives to Elixirs – increasing life restored by Elixirs by 15 %.

How to Get Elixirs in Nioh 3?

Elixirs are primarily restored by praying at shrines. However, shrines only refill four elixirs by default. The remaining four must be obtained through exploration. You can carry a maximum of eight elixirs at any time, and any extras you pick up beyond that limit are sent to storage. Elixirs are found by looting corpses, opening chests, and as enemy drops.
The best way to make your Elixirs more potent is through the Blessing system. Kodama Blessings are earned by finding friendly Kodama. Each Kodama upgrade has three levels and requires Kodama Merits. There are a total of eleven Kodama you can find on the map.
Jizo Blessings are obtained by praying at Six Jizo statues. These blessings reduce the impact of life corrosion and other health-draining effects in Crucibles.
