The Honest Shovel Encounter focuses on the scam tactic used by many miracle medicine pushers in the world; the other Encounter, Crazy Stones, also shares the same motive. The gameplay will focus on preventing the scam from taking place in Kaifeng City by removing posters and interacting with NPCs to learn more about the scam and people who fall for it.

The Encounter can be completed pretty quickly, and the story, the character interaction, and the management of the scams will keep the Encounter interesting to the very end.
Starting Honest Shovel Encounter
Travel to the Masterwood Hamlet Boundary Stone in Artisan’s Nook, south of Kaifeng City, in the Kaifeng region. Head a bit east from the stone, and you will see guards asking for travel permits from the traders. This conversation marks the beginning of the Honest Shovel Encounter.
Now travel to the Main South Gate Boundary Stone, south of Kaifeng City, in the South Gate Avenue section. If you don’t see the quest, arrive at the location at “Si” hour.
Once you arrive at the location, you will get the option to eavesdrop on a conversation between Clumsy Constable and Ge Zhichuan. Both will be talking about the existence of a divine miracle healer curing all ailments in people.
Removing Fake Posters Off the Wall
After eavesdropping, get to the wall behind them and read the poster about the miracle healer on the wall. Then speak to Clumsy Constable, and he will ask you to remove the poster on the wall.
Remove the poster and then talk to Clumsy Constable. He will ask you to remove three other fake posters from the walls around the South Gate Avenue section of Kaifeng City.
Each fake poster will tell a story, and an NPC around the poster will take a liking to the story. When you tear a poster off the wall, the NPCs around it will react to it, creating a commotion, but it will never reach a point of battle.
Remove all three fake posters, then meet up with the Scraper (Clumsy Constable) at the wooden bridge near the Harmonic Span Boundary Stone, north of South Gate Avenue.
Once you arrive at the location, you will not find Clumsy Constable; instead, you will meet Shu Benkui. She will complain about you tearing the posters off the wall over the city that she worked hard to create.

Handing over Notice Signs to Clumsy Constable
The next stop is to get to the Kaifeng Prefecture Office located near the Kaifeng Prefecture Boundary Stone, in the Kaifeng Prefecture section of Kaifeng City.
Once you arrive at the location, eavesdrop on a conversation between Clumsy Constable and Zhen Laoba. After eavesdropping, hand over all three notice signs or fake posters to the Clumsy Constable.
Once you hand over the fake posters to the constable, Zhen Laoba will thank you for your effort and reward you for the act.
