How to Get the Luckiest Coin
Before you can go around and get the Amulet of Dark Omens in Diablo 4, you need to get your hands on the Luckiest Coin and deposit it in a secret location. I also recommend doing this part of the quest in a party, as you need to defeat four different enemies within a span of a few seconds. This could be tough solo, but if you can’t find a team, you can always check whether other players are willing to trade the Luckiest Coin instead.
Next, I suggest dropping your Torment level so other players won’t nab the enemies before you do. Plus, you can defeat all the enemies quickly at the same time. The enemies you need to target and defeat are:
- Droplet – Found in the eastern section of Skartara. Visit the Gray Hills southwest of Tyrael’s Encampment and east of Fool’s Quarry.
- Snagging Vein – North of the Cow Level portal in Skartara, in Mount Hefaetrus East Face.
- Flowing Rage – Located at the Temple of Wisdom, northwest of the Snagging Vein boss.
- Raging Fissure – Visit the Gasping Slopes in the southwestern section of Skartara.
Communicate with the rest of your team and set everyone up at their respective boss locations. Once the first boss is down, everyone should collaborate and take down the other three bosses too. If done correctly, when checking the floor nearby, you will find the Luckiest Coin.
Where to Place the Luckiest Coin
The Luckiest Coin in Diablo 4 needs to be placed under a pillow on a bed found in Temis, Skovos. Head over to the marked location above and explore the building here. You will find a bed near a locked door; you can’t miss it. Hover your cursor over the pillow on the bed until you can interact with it and place the Luckiest Coin under it.
Now comes the hard part, as you need to wait exactly 24 hours from the time of placing the coin under the pillow to find the Amulet of Dark Omens. Even if you are a second too late, you can’t get the amulet, and you need to repeat the entire process of obtaining a new Luckiest Coin from the start. I recommend having an alarm or notification enabled to help you when the time comes. Then, revisit the pillow location and select the pillow to get the Amulet.
