How to Get the Brew Barrel in Alchemy Factory
If you plan on turning your store into a tavern at some point, then you need to craft the Brew Barrel. This new contraption can churn out different potions and hand them to your customers directly. To get the Brew Barrel, you need to progress through the research tree until you reach Tier 4.
Once unlocked, you need 30x Wooden Planks and 10x Iron Ingots to craft one brew barrel, and it will cost 1,600 coins to unlock the recipe. I suggest unlocking the brew barrel later in the game, since you need to unlock the drinks required as well.
How to Use the Brew Barrel
The Brew Barrel works similarly to crafting potions, and the plus side is that you can push liquids directly into the machine and keep stock of any unused potions in it. But first, you need to unlock the Brew Barrel beverages. If you scroll through the Research Tree, you will find a handful of new beverages added to the list. Each beverage will require liquids that you need to extract from the various machinery placed around your base. First, you need to check the recipe of each beverage from the Goods tab, then head over to the required machinery. From the extraction machine, place a pipe that will help channel the liquid straight into the brew barrel.
Then, interact with the brew barrel and select the required recipe from the list of brews you have unblocked. Select the required quantity, then all you need to do is sit back and wait for it to fill up mugs of potions for your patrons to enjoy right off the bat.
