How to Build the Chimney Rocks Dig Site Habitat in Pokémon Pokopia

By Kirthana KAugust 5, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • The Chimney Rocks Dig Site is an ideal habitat to summon Sharpedo.
    • This would probably be one of the first habitats you would be tasked with creating after unlocking Bubbly Basin.
    • You will require one each of Traffic Cone, Excavation Tools, Wheelbarrow, and Chimney Rocks to create the habitat.

Now that you have unlocked Bubbly Basin, you can bring out several new Pokémon to add to your Pokedex. One of them is the elusive Sharpedo, and to summon one, you need to build the required habitat for it.

Bubbly Basin is home to several unique Pokémon, but you can’t unlock them all from the get-go. Popplio will be helpful enough to guide you through how Bubbly Basin works. Popplio will give you a tip for finding new Pokémon this way, but there are a few requirements to meet first.

After getting the Dive ability and unlocking Bubbly Basin, you will be quickly tasked with clearing up the place so another Pokémon can move in. But first, you have to build all of their habitats, and you can start off by building a Chimney Rock Dig Site to bring Sharpedo to your base.

Don’t be confused with the Creepy Chimney Rocks habitat, which will only summon Marshtomp. To build the Chimney Rocks Dig Site, you will require the following items.

    • Traffic Cone x 1
    • Excavation Tools x 1
    • Wheelbarrow x 1
    • Chimney Rocks x 1

How to Build the Chimney Rocks Dig Site Habitat

These new items are found all around Bubbly Basin already; you just need a keen eye to find them. I had some luck trying to find these items while clearing out unwanted debris first and making space to add new items. By clearing up the area, it became easier for me to find all the items to build the habitat.

If you are still having a hard time, I recommend leaving the area and returning to Bubbly Basin at a later time. This will help reset some of the items, making it easier to find them. After locating all the items required, pick an area where you would like to summon Sharpedo.

Place all the items close together so you unlock the Chimney Rocks Dig Site notification. Now all you need to do is wait for a Sharpedo to show up, which will unlock new questlines and hopefully new Pokémon.

    FAQs

I can’t find any of the items for the habitat, what do I do?

Continue clearing up all the debris around the habitat until you find what you are looking for.

Can I purchase these items in-game?

No, there are no Pokémon vendors who will have these items on sale, so your only bet to find them is to keep exploring Bubbly Basin.

Do I need to meet certain weather conditions to summon Sharpedo?

No, Sharpedo will appear in any weather and at any time, so you need to wait around the habitat if you want to find it.
