SAND: Raiders of Sophie – How To Complete Contracts

By Kirthana KJuly 3, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • Contracts can be picked up on all modes of the game.
    • You will find an indicator if there is a contract nearby by checking the left side of the screen.
    • You can trade in various items and get crowns in return after completing a contract.

SAND: Raiders of Sophie is a pure extraction game, but it’s easy to get ambushed and have your loot stolen. If that happens, find and complete contracts around the map to earn crowns and get rid of your precious loot without extracting.

How to Pick Up and Complete Contracts

I recommend finding and completing as many contracts as possible for the rewards. This is a great way to earn a large amount of crowns in a short time, but high rewards come with high risks. Contracts are special requests found inside marked POIs on the map.

You will get a notification of a contract while checking out the left side of your screen. It will show you that there is a contract nearby, and there will be a time limit to complete it. If playing in Voyager mode, you don’t have to worry about the contract timer.

    Locating the Contract

Now, to find the contract, check your map and make a beeline to the nearest landmark. Usually these will be forts or other large buildings. Once you find the building, use your binoculars to find a smoke point on the roof. These signify that there is a contract to pick up here. If you can’t find any smoke here, move on to the next location.

After finding the correct building, find the entrance. There will always be one large entrance that can be broken down using the Trampler’s cannon. Shoot the door to break it, then head inside. Look around to find stairs or ladders to take you up to the contract zone.

    Completing the Contract

After reaching the roof, you will find an empty container beside the smoke grenade. All you need to do now is place an empty box on it and fill it with any loot you have collected. After placing the now filled box into the empty container, you will get a rough estimate of your total payoff for the loot given.

Interact with the container to send it off. Wait for a while, and you will spot the container returning with the cash. Collect it, and you are done with the contract.

    FAQs

Are completing contracts better than trading?

Yes, you can estimate your loot value and get a lot more from contracts rather than selling loot to traders.

Can I complete contracts outside expeditions?

No, contracts only occur while completing expeditions, so you have to do those simultaneously.

What items can I place in the contract box?

You can put any item that you have in excess and want to get rid of quickly. It is best to add items to the contract loot pool and get your rewards instead of waiting to extract with the loot.
