How to Answer the Great Pair Pondering

If you are like me and wish the best for your Mii, then you need to pick the right choices for their questions to get unique outcomes. One of the more frequently asked questions a Mii might have is whether they and someone else on the island seem like a great pair. There are different outcomes for the choices you pick here, so let’s take a look at them.
Agree to the Pairing
By picking the Yes option when asked if the Miis would look good together, the Mii will develop a crush. This only happens after Miis have turned their relationship from strangers to friends. It took several in-game days for my Mii to develop a crush on someone they were friends with, so it didn’t happen overnight.
Once the crush has been cemented, it will be a one-sided affair. The only way to let the other Mii know about your Mii’s crush is to wait for further pondering thoughts from your Mii. Eventually, they will try to act on it, and you can help them turn the relationship for the better or for worse.
Disagree with the Pairing
Sometimes, the only way to clear a Mii’s head from a crush is to reject the idea. This would hurt the Mii for a while, and you can cheer them up by giving them gifts or patting their head. They will lose the crush status and go back to being friends or strangers, depending on how deep their feelings were.
In case they were close to confessing their feelings before rejecting their idea, they will go back to still having a crush and being in love with them. You will have to reject their advances several more times to lower their relationship level further.
Reply with Uncertainty
I couldn’t decide whether my Miis made a good pair, so I picked some of the vague options on the dialog list. Picking options like Maybe or Perhaps will not give the Mii a definite answer. This made the Mii drop the question altogether but didn’t persuade them to change their feelings. Instead, the question reappeared several days later, and by then, I had a clearer opinion on whether I should help set them up or not.

FAQs
Is it best to reject or accept a Mii’s crush on another Mii?
It depends on how you like to play the game. If you were rooting for the Miis to pair up, then you can agree that they make a great pair. The real test lies in whether the other Mii will reciprocate the same feelings or not.
My Mii rejected the crush. What do I do?
If you still want to keep them together, then you could drag and drop them around each other frequently. This could help blossom the relationship more, or sour it, so keep an eye on the statuses of both Miis while trying to set them up.
Can my Miis remain friends after having their confession rejected?
Again, this depends on various factors. If both Miis like to continue the relationship, then they might still remain friends. If the rejection had taken a toll on one or both of the Miis, then they probably won’t stay together and might even despise seeing each other.
