Gray Zone Warfare 0.4 – How to Get Broker’s M9A1

The Like a Boss questline in Gray Zone Warfare’s 0.4 update includes several unique weapons to purchase from the respective quest givers. Each weapon is linked to a particular boss, and if you are looking for Broker’s M9A1, then you need to follow several steps to get it.​

​How to Complete Like A Boss – Broker’s M9A1 Quest​

If you haven’t unlocked this quest yet, you need to defeat the Broker that spawns in and around Hunter’s Paradise. Some possible spawn locations for this boss are at

• Hunter’s Paradise itself (160, 170)
• Sunset Chalet east of Hunter’s Paradise (167, 158)
• Ban Phouphienge south of Hunter’s Paradise (157, 157)

This boss fight proved a bit tough for me, so I had to go in with a squad to make things easier. Since the area was surrounded by other enemies besides the  boss, stealth kills and luring enemies away were the way to go. ​

Once the crowd was thinned out, it became easier to corner the boss. I found the DDM4 was good enough to deal with the boss, but you can use any other close-range weapon, like the MP7A1 and MP7A2, which are also acceptable for the fight.​

After defeating Broker, you will automatically get a quest objective from Gunny. Check your Field Manual to find out what to do next.​

Locate the Locked Structure at Kiu Vongsa Mayor’s Mansion​

Check your map to find the Kiu Vongsa Mayor’s Mansion, which is typically located at coordinates (146, 171). After entering the mansion premises, look around to find a locked shed near the pool. This shed will have a keypad on it, as well as a sticky note stuck to the door. While reading the note, you are directed to find a code. The code is located in four different areas:

• Construction Site (150, 165)
• Phiengdao Viewpoint (151, 156)
• Sunset Chalet (167, 158)
• Ban Phouphienge (157, 158)

Find the Code to the Locked Structure ​

For the construction site code, head over to the southern section of the area to find an open green shed. If you enter through the eastern gate, it is easier to find it to your left. Enter the shed and check out the sticky note on the table with the number 2 on it.

Next up is Phiengdao Viewpoint. Investigate the building pillars in the center of the area to find a sticky note with the number 8 on it.​

After that, make your way to Sunset Chalet and take the stairs all the way up to the rooftop seating area. Check the tables to find a note with the number 1 on it.

Lastly, head over to Ban Phouphienge and check the office room with a picture of a woman on the wall. On the table to the left is the last sticky note with the number 5 on it.​

Secure the Briefcase​

Head back to the locked shed at Kiu Vongsa and input the code in the order of locations listed on the sticky note on the door. The door code is 2815. Enter the shed and check out the room to your left. Just as you enter, look to your right to find the briefcase leaning against the wall. ​

After retrieving the briefcase, check your quest log to get the Hand Over option. Click on Complete at the bottom of the log after that to complete the quest. Once done, visit Gunny’s store to purchase the newly unlocked Broker’s M9A1 pistol for $2.1K.​

Is the code the same for each gameplay?​

So far, there are no different codes supplied for each gameplay, so you can use the code mentioned above to access the room beyond the locked door.​

Do I have to uncover all the sticky notes before I input the code?​

If you already know the code, input it into the locked shed directly to unlock it. This will save you a lot of time, and you get to complete the quest quickly.
