1. Dancing Blade, Shining Shield I

Location: The first Rapier and Shield Challenge in Crimson Desert unlocks after you pick up the Sealed Abyss Artifact southeast of The Witchwoods in Hernand, as shown in the image above. Picking up the Sealed Artifact will trigger the first Dancing Blade, Shining Shield Challenge. If you don’t own a Rapier, you can pick up the Grace Rapier from the same spot beside the Sealed Abyss Artifact.

Challenge: Defeat 5 enemies with a Rapier within 60 seconds. The easiest way to complete this challenge is by eliminating the Kuku Birds at Rocca’s Hill, east of Hernand. I aggroed the Kuku Birds by hitting one in their group, turning them all into enemies, then defeating five of them under a minute with the Grace Rapier. Remember, you need to complete these challenges as Damiane, so don’t go around hunting them as Kliff.
Rewards: For completing this challenge, you’ll receive 1x Abyss Artifact and 1x Destruction I.
2. Dancing Blade, Shining Shield II

Location: The next Rapier and Shield Challenge in Crimson Desert unlocks after picking up the Sealed Abyss Artifact south of Golden Plains, just above the first “S” in Demeniss, as shown in the image above.
Challenge: Stab enemies 10 times with a Rapier without taking damage. For this challenge, you need to unlock the Stab Skill and stab any enemy 10 times with the Rapier as Damiane. Since this doesn’t have a time constraint, you can take your time and stab one or more enemies 10 times to complete this Rapier and Shield Challenge. This is also easily done with the Kuku Birds at Rocca’s Hill in Hernand.
Rewards: For completing this Rapier and Shield Challenge, you’ll receive 1x Abyss Artifact and 1x Haste I.
3. Dancing Blade, Shining Shield III

Location: The third Shield and Rapier Challenge unlocks after obtaining the Sealed Abyss Artifact south of The Ironwood, specifically the Ironwood Farmhouse, in Demeniss, as shown in the image above.
Challenge: Hit a prone enemy 5 times with a Rapier. Similar to the previous challenge, this one doesn’t have a time limit. The best way to complete this is to throw enemies to the ground with Damiane, then stabbing or hitting them with the Rapier instantly. I’d recommend doing this at a Bandit camp, since you’ll get multiple tries to throw them to the ground, then hit them. It’s fine if you take damage while doing this.
Rewards: For completing this challenge, you’ll receive 1x Abyss Artifact and 1x Shred I.
4. Dancing Blade, Shining Shield IV

Location: The next Rapier and Shield Challenge unlocks after picking up the Sealed Abyss Artifact at the Three Brothers’ Cliff, northwest of Fort Windridge in Delesyia, as shown in the image above.
Challenge: Take down 3 enemies at once from over 10 metres away using the Rapier. Damiane’s Smiting Bolt ranged ability is best suited to complete this challenge. I recommend upgrading this Skill to at least Level 2 since it sends out three vertical beams instead of one. If you can, you may upgrade this to Level 3, as it makes the beam auto-lock on the enemies. Once you’ve done that, find a group of Bandits or any enemies, get some distance, and use Damiane’s Rapier to activate the Smiting Bolt ability twice or thrice to hit 3 enemies at once. This will take some trial and error, trust me, but there’s no time limit, so try it at your own pace.
Rewards: For completing this Rapier and Shield Challenge, you’ll receive 1x Abyss Artifact and 1x Greater Insight.
5. Dancing Blade, Shining Shield V

Location: The final Rapier and Shield Challenge in Crimson Desert unlocks after obtaining the Sealed Abyss Artifact east of the Golden Plains, directly to the southwest of Breezeblown Knoll in Demeniss, as shown in the image above.
Challenge: Hit 9 enemies within 15 seconds with Shield Toss. Damiane already has this ability unlocked, so all you have to do is find a large group of enemies, then activate the Shield Toss ability. She’ll throw her Shield at the enemies, causing it to bounce off of each other. If you can, you may upgrade this Skill to unlock more bounces and make the challenge easier to complete.
Rewards: For completing this challenge, you’ll receive 1x Abyss Artifact, 1x Faded Abyss Artifact and 1x Swift I.

You’ll unlock the Master of Rapiers Trophy/Achievement for completing all 5 Rapier and Shield Challenges in Crimson Desert.
Do I need to do all the challenges with Damiane?
Yes, you must complete every Rapier and Shield Challenge with Damiane in Crimson Desert. Doing them with Kliff and Oongka won’t count towards the challenge progression.
What happens if I die in the middle of completing the challenges?
If you get killed while doing these challenges in Crimson Desert, do not worry, as you can pick up from where you left off after respawning. The game saves your Mastery Challenge progression when you die.
