How to Complete the Town Drowned in Sorrow Quest

You need to make your way to the Valley of Grief near the Forebearer’s Barrens, Burhum, to find this quest. Keep walking around the marked area until you encounter a town called the Well of Enlightenment. Head inside this town and speak to Chief Durzan. He will ask for your help in liberating the Well of Enlightenment. Alongside that, you also need to clean the solar panels around town so they have power.
Clean the Solar Panels

I had a hard time trying to find the solar panels, until it struck me that I needed to go up the hills nearby. You can get up here by walking to the highest point of town and then using the Double Jump ability. Once up here, I equipped my broom and dusted all the dirt off of each of the solar panels. If you don’t have a broom, you can purchase one from any Provisioner’s Shop. Each time you clean a solar panel, it will turn to face the sun.
Liberate the Well of Enlightenment
Once all panels are cleaned and ready, the next task left is to liberate the Well of Enlightenment. To do so, track the “Oreback Back in the Desert – Radiant Crystal” quest under the Sage of the Desert questline. This will take you a bit south of the town, where you will encounter the Queen Bismuth Oreback Crab boss. If you are having a hard time dealing with this boss, just follow what I did.
As soon as the boss came at me, I staggered it first. Then I jumped up on its back and used Turning Slash to stun it. This gave me time to crack some of the Bismuth crystals on its back using my weapon. After that, I used Cling and Pierce to drive my weapon further into the cracks. Repeating these steps brought the boss’s shield down, and during the second stage, I just had to repeatedly hit its back until it was defeated.
Return to the town after clearing the area of enemies and the boss, after which you can speak to the chief again. He will thank you for your troubles, which will end the quest.
