In Urban Legend, you are tasked by a Startorch Academy student called ‘Mayo,’ to investigate a string of paranormal activities taking place around the Academy. This series of five unique quests offers a chance to earn some Astrite, Energy Cores, Resonance Potions, and Shell Credits upon completion.

How to Start Urban Legend Side Quest in Wuthering Waves 3.0
You will need to complete Chapter 3, Act 1: What Burns Beneath Frostlands, to start the ‘Urban Legend: Anonymous Inviter’ Side Quest series. Once you complete Chapter 3, Act 1 in the main story, open the WavesLine App. Look for a message from a student named Mayo. Reply to her message and meet up with her at the provided quest marker to start the first side quest in this series.
Urban Legend 1: The Tale Teller

- Travel to the Startorch Academy.
- Enter the Garden where students gather.
- Wait till the in-game clock strikes 24:00 (midnight).
- Approach the group of students.
- Interact with the Rambling Girl.
- Fast-forward the time to 12:00.
- Talk to the Trembling Girl near the garden with the two other students.
- Head to the bushes located right in front of you (when the cutscene ends).
- Look between the two square-shaped boulders for the mysterious item.
- Interact with the item lying on the grass between the boulders.
- Manually select the ‘Investigate the Grass’ objective in your quest list if you’re unable to interact with the item.
- The quest will be marked as complete once you investigate the item.

Urban Legend 2: No-Escape Classroom

- Travel to the Startorch Academy using the Resonance Beacon.
- I recommend using the Resonance Beacon at the Crossroads.
- Go to the Teaching Zone in the Academy between 10:00 and 06:00 hours.
- Go down the corridor and make a right to find the classroom mentioned by Mayo.
- Enter the classroom and begin trying to leave it.
- If you try leaving the classroom, you will keep returning to it.
- Interact with the ghostly figure behind the teacher’s desk, who wants you to get 3 items.
- Deliver the following items to leave the classroom:

- Return to Shion everytime you retrieve an item. Once you deliver the above 3 items, you can leave the classroom and tell Mayo the truth. Once you complete the call, the quest will be marked as complete.

Urban Legend 3: Train to Who Knows Where

- Travel to the Fangspire Chasm Station.
- Contact Mayo once you reach there.
- Go to the quest marker (automatically provided after the cutscene)
- Wait for the Midnight Train.
- Once it arrives, get on your bike and chase after it.
- The train will take you through a shimmering Portal.
- Capture a photograph of this shocking phenomenon once you’re inside the Portal.
- The train will encircle you to create an Arena.
- Defeat all the monsters that spawn inside this Arena.
- The Monsters will come in two waves.
- The second wave will include a Reactor Husk monster.
- Quest will be marked as complete once you defeat this mini-boss monster.

Urban Legend 4: The Rogue Constructor

- Open the WavesLine Message from Mayo.
- Travel to the Collapsed Ravine.
- Wait for the rain to start (should happen automatically once you reach the ravine)
- Travel to the Hill (follow the marker)
- Cut off the power from the Rogue Constructor to shut it down.
- Contact Mayo once again.
- This will prompt a race against a ghost motorcycle.
- Interact with the Rogue Constructor once again to start the race.
- Finish the race first to win.
- Inspect the Storage Module of the Rogue Constructor after winning the race.
- Once you interact with the Rogue Constructor, this quest will be marked as completed.

Urban Legend 5: Lost in the Fog Tunnel

- Travel to the Rebirth Uplands.
- Go to the quest marker near the Golden Spiral.
- Wait for nightfall.
- Go to the figure that looks like Mayo.
- The figure will appear beneath a Street Lamp at nightfall.
- The figure will disappear once you approach her.
- Survey the surroundings to find a flickering street lamp.
- Take a right, travel up the road, and take a left to find this flickering street lamp.
- The figure will disappear once again when you approach her.
- Take the road to your right to find yet another flickering street lamp.
- The figure will disappear once again when you approach her.
- Take the road to your left and find the last flickering lamp.
- The figure will disappear once again when you approach her.
- Go down the road and get on your motorbike.
- The ghost will start chasing you.
- Escape the ghost to complete this quest.
- Once you’re in a safe spot (the ghost is no longer chasing you), contact Mayo.
- After the cutscene, the entire Quest Series will be marked as completed.

Is the Urban Legend quest worth completing?
Absolutely! The tasks in these quests aren’t very complicated. You should be able to cross them off in a single attempt. However, the rewards are definitely worth the time you put in. Unlike other side quests, such as Hidden Childhood, completing Urban Legend rewards you with much-needed Astrite.
What’s the most difficult quest in this series?
The ‘Train to Who Knows Where‘ quest can prove to be a challenging one, considering it takes racing, timely photo capture, and combat to complete this quest. You also need to defeat a level 90 Reactor Husk, which might be a bit difficult.
