How to Unlock the Fishwood River Gate
The Fishwood River Gate is located west of Fishwood River in Roaring Sands, Kaifeng. From the gate, head southeast and head up the hill to find a large, mysterious gate with three groups of NPCs standing around it. Eavesdrop on all the NPCs around here to get clues and start the quest.
Head back to Fishwood River Gate. You will spot some enemies standing in front of the gate, eavesdrop on them too before beating them. Next, step up to the gate and interact with the dial in front of it. This will unlock the gate.
Fishwood Dungeon Guide
- Head down the stairs towards the locked gate. You can’t interact with it right now.
- Instead, go through the opening to the right of the locked gate.
- You will spot a lever in the middle of the room, but don’t pull it just yet.
- Push open the large double doors in front of the lever, then turn back around and head up the slope on your left.
- Go through the hole in the wall and drop down.
- Walk over to the locked double doors ahead and enter the other hole in the wall on your right.
- You will find yourself in a room with another lever. Again, you don’t have to pull the lever right now.
- Instead, push open the double doors ahead and enter to reach the other side of the locked gate at the beginning of the dungeon.
All Trust Locations
- You will find a corpse on the floor of the new room, pick up the Strange Tales of Roaring Sands III from the body.
- Head over to the table on the other end of the room and interact with the first Trust. Also, pick up the strange fruits to get a new clue to the Wandering Tale.
- You will also have access to the two rooms with the levers on either side, so dash back and forth between each room and interact with the levers now.
- The platform in the middle of the room with the corpse will lift up, revealing a hole in the floor.
- Go through it and unlock the chest in the corner, then walk across the rope towards the coffin in the center of the area.
- Be careful while navigating the rope, as you can fall off if you lose your balance.
- Once you reach the coffin, interact with the second Trust on top of the coffin, after which you will get the option to leave the dungeon.
Handing over the Trusts
Once you exit the dungeon, speak to the NPC near the entrance, then go a bit to the right of the entrance to find another NPC on the ground covered in bandages. His name will be Pan Renli. Hand over the Trust papers to him to complete the Yellow River Coffin Wandering Tale.
