How to Unlock Co-Op
The co-op multiplayer option unlocks as you progress through the main story quest. Complete the tutorial and follow along with the questline until you get the co-op feature unlocked. This should happen within an hour of playing the game, and once that is done, you will spot other players spawn into the game too.
How to Host Lobbies

To host a lobby, head into the Pause menu and scroll down. You will spot two options: Party and Find Party. Select the Party option, then click on the Create Party option in the new menu. This will give you a list of friends from your linked account that you can invite.
You can select up to 4 people to join your party, and this party setup will be saved in the available slots for future reference. If you don’t have any friends to add, select the Switch to Searchable option at the top to change your lobby setting from private to public.
How to Join Lobbies

Within the Pause menu, select the Find Party option instead. This will give you a list of all available parties you can join. Once you find a party, select it and click on the Request to Join option. If it is a public lobby, you can instantly join them. If an approval is required, then you need to wait for the admin to accept your invite to join them.
Also, on the left side of the screen, you can pick your lobby type depending on whether you wish to join lobbies specifically for raids, bosses, or open-world exploration. Each lobby will also give you details on what level they are at and all the players in the party. You can also search for your friend’s party here using the Search option on top.
