How to Complete the What’s Theirs is Mine Quest
I initially encountered this quest after locating Doric. If you haven’t found Doric in the new Downdun Reach map, head over to the Nexus to find him near the entrance. After starting the quest, check your quest log for what should be done next, which is to find the mugger-mage. To find the mugger mage, the first location you need to check is the Cathedral to the west of the Nexus.
Find the Mugger Mage in the Cathedral
Within the Cathedral, walk around the northern courtyard. While walking along the path, look up to find an opening in the railing. I used the windstep spell to jump up towards the opening, then made my way into the room on the left. There is an elite enemy present, so address that first.
Then, investigate the room to find the Scrawled Notes quest item on the western table. Right now, you won’t have anything more to do here, so take the Nexus nodestone right beside the table and travel back to Doric. Speak to him, and after completing the conversation, the quest will be updated.
Find the Mugger Mage in the Garrison
The next step of this quest will take you to the Garrison in the northeastern section of the map. Rather than going through the gates if they are open, I used windstep again on the rocks beside the gate to reach the top. Then, I went north through the tower and then east to find the Nexus nodestone. Right beside the nodestone, on the table, is the second Scrawled Notes quest item you need to pick up. Return to Doric to continue the questline.
Find the Mugger Mage in Demon Gate
If you haven’t unlocked the Demon Gate yet, you will find it within the underground catacombs found in the western section of the Courtyard. Step through the western gate within the Courtyard to find an entrance that will take you to the Cathedral. Keep exploring the lower portions of the catacombs to find the Demon Gate. There will be two enemies on guard here, so take them down first.
Then, enter the Demon Gate to find the dead Zamorak Mage leaning against the wall in the back of the room. Pick up the last quest item from his body and return to Doric. Hand over the item to him to unlock the Masterwork recipe for the Zamorak Staff.
