Furniture Types Explained

Furniture in the game is more than just cosmetic items to grace your apartments. While you can buy furniture items from gift shops around the map, there is another, more unique furniture type called Anomaly Furniture. To get this furniture type, you need to clear as many Anomaly Commissions and anomaly events and get them as rewards.
Anomaly furniture also provides a unique feature. Once placed at your base, you can check their stats to see what sort of bonuses they supply. They could range anywhere from increasing CRIT damage, increasing Beetle Coins claim, or even working on the durability of your vehicle.
To know what stat your anomaly furniture has, while in your apartment, press the chair icon on top of the screen. This will bring up the Anomaly Furniture menu, where you can find all the information about each piece of anomaly furniture you own.
Upgrading Anomaly Furniture
Anomaly furniture is the only furniture type that can be upgraded in a few ways. You need to collect several components for the furniture type by farming through anomaly events and commissions. Sometimes, these furniture pieces will also drop from enemies. As you progress through the game and unlock more exploration areas, these will have a chance to drop furniture upgrade items.
How to Obtain Green Rarity Furniture

While checking out the Property Renovation guide, you will find that you need to get green rarity furniture. Now, upgrading normal furniture isn’t a feature in the game, so the only way to do this task is to find them out in the open.
If you want my hack on completing this objective, then make your way to Moby-Dick Bookstore to the west of Hankaku Street, Bridge Crossings. Check out the store’s menu and purchase any green-tier gift. After that, make your way to your apartment and place the gift anywhere you like.
How to Collect Furniture

If you have purchased furniture in the open world, you won’t find it in your inventory. I had to figure this step out on my own, as I had to unlock a particular feature in my City Tycoon first. After unlocking the City Tycoon, level it up until you unlock the Property option. After that, select the Furniture Collection option on the screen and press on each piece of furniture available to claim it.
You can then add these pieces to your apartment by clicking on the mouse icon on top of the screen. Toggle through the options to place any furniture available. Adding furniture boosts the comfort level of your apartment, which helps unlock more features for your home later on. Also, the higher the comfort level, the more the passive income from your properties increases.
