God of War Sons of Sparta – All 6 Secret Serpent Locations

By Kirthana KFebruary 19, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • Finding all 6 serpent locations will unlock the Come to a Head trophy.
    • Serpents will appear in secret arenas, and you need to kill all the serpent heads within each lair to get the achievement.
    • Usually, while exploring a level, keep an eye out for breakable walls, ceilings, and floors. These usually will lead you to the serpent portal.

God of War: Sons of Sparta is just as challenging as the base game. In this Metroidvania-inspired game, you will still encounter mythical enemies as you progress through the levels. Defeating some of them will unlock unique trophies, and such is the case of finding all serpent lairs for a unique trophy.

You will find the serpent arena in the upper right corner of the above marked area. It is located directly below the campsite. Keep an eye out for a breakable wall and a portal right beyond that.

    Mount Taygetos Serpent Location

After entering Mount Taygetos from the south, travel northwest until you get to a circular clearing. Head west from there to enter a cave, jump up to the platform above, and punch down at the ground. Continue down to find the serpent lair portal.

    Stone Hollows Serpent Location

You need to make your way towards the far southeastern end of Stone Hollows to find the serpent portal. Keep to the lower floor while exploring Stone Hollows and continue east. You will encounter a breakable wall towards the end that will reveal the portal.

    The Grand Cistern Serpent Location

From Stone Hollows, enter The Grand Cistern and continue eastwards. Head up one level and continue to go east until you reach the end of the floor, near the Temple of Hestia. You will find a few movable platforms nearby; step on them until you reach the roof with the breakable wall. Climb up to find the serpent portal.

    The Veiled Bog Serpent Location

Head up northeast of the Grand Cistern to find the Veiled Bog. Continue to go east while keeping an eye on the floor. You will spot a breakable ground, smash it open, and head down. The serpent portal is at the bottom of the level.

    Eurotas River Serpent Location

Head down a level below the Temple of Dionysus and break down the wall to the west. Continue to go straight west to find another breakable wall and the serpent portal beyond.
