Genshin Impact – All Auspicious Treasure Tree Locations (Lantern Rite Event)

World of Teyvat has come alive, offering vibrant new decorations and lively new quests for Genshin Impact regulars with the all-new Lantern Rite Event. Instructed by Pingxi, you will be tasked with finding various ‘Auspicious Treasure Trees’ that are spread throughout the Liyue Harbor. I have made the rounds and looked behind every crate, barrel, and corner to find all 21 of them! Read on to know their precise locations.

All Auspicious Treasure Tree Locations – Fortune Coin – Lantern Rite Event Genshin Impact

Once you come across any of the Auspicious Treasure Trees planted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, you just need to strike it a couple of times with your weapon. Doing so will destroy the tree pot (don’t worry, that’s supposed to happen). You will gain 40 Fortune Coins per Tree.

Auspicious Treasure Tree Location #1

The first tree is located right beside the Bulletin Board where you start this quest. This treasure tree is a part of the Bright Moon, Lantern Glow quest, so it’s unmissable.

Auspicious Treasure Tree Location #2

This tree is located near the Bright Moon event site. You can easily spot it by looking for an NPC called Xiuhua, who is the waitress at the Guesthouse.

Auspicious Treasure Tree Location #3

You can find this tree towards the west side of the harbor bridge. You can easily spot it by looking for Wingxi, the treasure tree quest giver NPC.

The fourth tree is situated near the Bubu Pharmacy. You can locate it by going near the pool.

This tree can be found right in front of the Yuehai Pavilion. It is located right near the entrance, so you can’t miss it.

The next tree is a stone’s throw from the previous one. Just cross the road, and you can find this tree on the stairs of the building, near the NPC called Sturdy Wu.

The seventh tree can be found near the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It’s placed on the staircase that has two lion statues on either side.

Auspicious Treasure Tree Location #8

You can find this tree right near the entrance to the Xinyue Kiosk. It will be on top of the short staircase, near the NPC Yueshu.

Auspicious Treasure Tree Location #9

The ninth tree can be found on the wharf. This tree is right beside the area of the Moonlit Adeptus Trail event.

Auspicious Treasure Tree Location #10

The next tree is right in front of the previous one, and you should be able to see it quite easily. Just travel onwards on the wharf, and you will be able to spot this one near some lanterns, towards the end of the waterfront.

You can find this tree on your way back from the 10th and 11th trees. It is located south of the wharf, near the corner. Look for a large red cart. The tree will be right beside it.

This tree can be found on the platform below the wharf. Look for the tree under the lampost.

This tree is located near the south-eastern bridge. It is placed in front of the Yangshang Teahouse.

You can find this tree in front of the Granny Shan Toy Store. Look for NPCs Granny Shan or Lan Yan.

This tree is across the road from the previous one. You can easily find it near the Ying’er Shop.

This tree is located near the NPC Katheryne. Go down the stairs from her place to find it.

You can find this tree inside the Second Life General Store. Enter the store and locate the tree on it’s balcony.

You can find this tree south-east of the Blacksmith. It is located near the ship dock.

You can find this tree near the entryway. It is placed right beside the Reputation Board.

This tree is located near Wenji, the NPC associated with the Vigorous Brushstrokes event.

The final tree can be found atop a bamboo boat near the NPC Uncle Tian.

Fortune Coins are an event-specific Festive Currency that can be used to buy various Lantern Rite Gifts. You can also purchase Yaoyao’s New Skin with these coins. Interact with festive shopping NPC Pingxi to redeem the Lantern Rite Gits, such as Gift of the Seeking Light, Gift of the Radiant Night, or Gift of Distant Longing.

How can I destroy the Treasure Trees?

I recommend using Normal Attacks with your primary melee weapon. Two or three strikes will do the trick.

How can I easily locate the Auspicious Treasure Trees?

If you’re having trouble locating the tree when you are standing at the locations mentioned above, I recommend using your Elemental Sight. This highlights all major items, including these trees.
