How to Activate Josee’s Fading Bond
- Once you reach Josee’s Outpost in Sunken City, interact with the cocoon in the middle of the room.
- You will be informed to come back when you are stronger.
- Bring up your map and head over to Withered Greenhouse, Undead Forest. You will find Holly’s cocoon within the greenhouse to interact with.
- Follow along with the questline until you get the quest objective to Slay the Hero Holly.
- Once done, head back to the Withered Greenhouse and speak to Monica.
- Restore Holly’s bond, complete the rest of the questline, then teleport to Sanitarium in 2277: The Present.
- Enter the Sanitarium to find Lise’s Hair Ornament on the counter of the front desk.
- Head back to Josee’s Outpost and interact with the cocoon to activate it.
How to Rescue Josee
If the bond activation doesn’t work after retrieving Josee’s cocoon, then that means you have to follow her questline and complete it. That includes defeating her Hero form, then speaking to her in Magmell during the present day.
Then, activate her bond, and enter the past to get the Rescue Josee quest objective. Head over to Josee’s Outpost to find it ablaze. This will help you make progress further through Josee’s Time Shift gameplay.
