Citizen Reputation influences how well you are inculcated into a particular settlement. Having positive interactions and helping out the chosen settlement will unlock new features within the town. A negative reputation, on the other hand, will turn the citizens hostile against you, which will bring about unfavorable consequences.
What does Buy Order do
Buy Orders are supplied by the settlement as requests that can be picked up. Completing buy orders will help the settlement accumulate the necessities required for upgrading, maintaining, and constructing settlement buildings.

How to Check Buy Orders
Press the N key to bring up the Settlement menu and check out the Active Buy Orders under Treasury. This will show you a list of items required by the mayor. You don’t have to fulfill all Buy Orders, and you get to pick them up from this menu anytime.

Find the Requisition Agent within the Settlement and interact with them to get the Active Buy Orders menu. Select the Buy Order you wish to turn in, then move the slider according to the amount of materials you have gathered.
