My Winter Car – How To Install Brake Booster & Brake Lines

By Kirthana KJanuary 8, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • You need to use the required brake lines that correspond with your Brake Master Cylinder type.
    • There are two types of brake masters; boosted and unboosted.
    • You get to verify which parts you are getting during the purchasing process.

In My Winter Car, you would have started collecting the required parts and trying to assemble a decent vehicle to win races. Installing the brakes is a crucial step in the process, and if your parts are mismatched, then you won’t be able to install the brake lines with the brake cylinder.

How to Assemble a Brake Master Cylinder with the Brake Line

    • To start off, be sure that the Brake Master Cylinder that you have purchased is either the boosted or unboosted type.
    • Since the part types you get from the catalog will be random, you need to wait for the required types to be delivered.
    • The next step is to purchase the brake line.
    • It would be best to get a couple of different brake lines to see which ones will fit with the corresponding cylinder.
    • Once you have these two parts, place the Master Cylinder into the front slot (hood) of the car first and screw it in place.
    • Next, bring up the brake lines one by one and see which ones fit with the cylinder.
    • After finding the right fit, screw that in place to set them up.

    FAQs

Why can’t I install the Brake Line after installing the Brake Master Cylinder?

If your brake line is not of the same type as the Brake Master Cylinder, then you can’t attach the lines. You are probably trying to align a boosted Brake Master with an unboosted Brake Line, or vice versa. First, look at the Brake Master cylinder type (in the table at the top of this article), and match your Brake Line with that type.

How do I get the boosted Brake Master Cylinder?

The type of Master Cylinder you get is purely random, so keep trying to purchase them from the magazines or head over to Fleetari’s store to find it.

Is the Master Cylinder and Brake Line necessary?

Yes, this ensures that your car brakes work properly to avoid accidents.
