Strange Artifact Quest Guide
To start the Strange Artifact quest in WoW Forever, make your way to the Tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore (56, 26) and head all the way up to the very top floor to pick up a strange orb on the table. The tower has several enemies, so stay aware as you make your way up. After picking up the orb, accept the quest and make your way to Delgren the Purifier to hand it over. You can find Delgren at Ashenvale, at coordinates 26.2, 38.7.
Delgren will ask you to visit other NPCs in Stormwind City to consult them before making a decision about the strange orb. First, speak to Katherine the Pure located at the Cathedral of Light’s east wing, then visit Ursula Deline at the Warlock Sanctum. Ursula has some idea about the orb, but she needs a favor from you first.

Earning Your Salt Quest Guide
The only way to make Ursula talk is to gather 14x Summoner’s Salts, and these drop from the Blackrock Summoner orcs found around Redridge Mountains. In particular, you will find them at Render’s Camp and Render’s Rock while exploring the mountains. Defeat several Blackrock Summoners to gather the required amount of Summoner’s Salts, as the drop depends on RNG.
After returning to Ursula and turning in the item, she will warn you that the orb is tied to something sinister and needs to be destroyed. For that, you need to gather 12 Motes of Mannoroth by beating demons at Felfire Hill in Ashenvale. These can be used to craft the Spear of Mannoroth after turning in the Motes of Mannoroth to Ursula. With that, the orb can be destroyed for good.
Return to Delgren the Purifier to hand over the shards and complete the quest, which will help you earn the chest that contains the Cloak of the Divine Storm in WoW Forever.
