In Palia’s latest Spiritfest update, you now have the chance to capture two new plushies. One of them is the Pumpkin Rockhopper plush, and you need the right lures to draw out the elusive insects and get the plush through RNG.

How to Get the Pumpkin Rockhopper Plush
Before getting straight to the point, I recommend working through the Bulletin Board events to get the Jack O’ Lantern lure. If you participated in the event last year, then you should have a few leftovers in your inventory. You also need to purchase several smoke bombs from the General Store to make it easier to capture the creatures that will drop the plush. Then, head to the following locations to get the Pumpkin Rockhopper Plush.
Bahari Bay
This is a popular spot for farming the Pumpkin Rockhopper plush, so don’t be surprised if you find several players trying to get it here. What I liked to do upon reaching Bahari Bay was to make my way close to the Outskirts (B3) and climb up the pillar with vines surrounding it. It is right in front of the Bahari Bay entryway, and only one pillar has climbable vines surrounding it.
Get on top of the pillar, then jump across to the cliff wall. Climb all the way up to the cliff platform that overlooks the top of the pillar, then place the Jack O’ Lantern lure on top of it. You will find Pumpkin Rockhoppers spawn on the platform, and all you need to do is use your smoke bombs to capture them. After a while, don’t forget to clear up all the loot drops, as you might get the plush this way.
Royal Highlands
Make your way to Mudan’s Wall in B9 and find the spot next to the cave and several pink trees. If you climb up one platform above, you can place the Jack O’ Lantern lure here and start collecting Pumpkin Rockhoppers. I would also recommend placing other bug lures like Honey Lures to capture different bugs, especially if you are looking for other bug plush types or just generally trying to increase your Bug Catching skill.
