How to Complete the Whispers In The Wind Quest
This quest arrived unexpectedly while I was working on my town, and thankfully, I caught it sooner, just as I was checking my mail. I found a letter from Moana that dropped a cake and a salad in my inventory. The letter also implied that we meet her at Dazzle Beach since she has found something strange.
Find Glowing Algae
While exploring Dazzle Beach, you need to keep an eye out for glowing algae on the ground. There are no fixed spawn points for the algae to appear. Keep looking around for a sparkling blue object on the floor. Picking it up will start the Whispers in the Wind quest. Then, find Moana in her house and hand over the glowing algae.
Find Moana near the Swirling Flower Petal Winds
Continue the conversation in her house, after which she will ask you to step into the portal. This will take you to a mysterious island, where you need to find Swirling Flower Petal Winds. I found the Swirling Flower Petals up a ramp after walking around the base of the island. Speak to Moana again and pick up the glowing Memory Orb beside the floating petals.
Search the Mystery Island for Dig Spots
Check out the memory from the Memory Orb to find an image of two dig spots. The first dig spot is to the right after getting down the ramp. You will find it on a patch of grass beside some trees. Continue to go around the island until you reach a bunch of boulders on the sand. This is where the second dig spot is. Digging up each spot will give you pieces of jewelry. Speak to Moana after that.
Complete the Puzzle
Your next task is to solve a puzzle. You will get a blank canvas, and on your left are puzzle pieces. Drag and drop each puzzle piece to the correct slot to complete the puzzle. The image on the puzzle will reveal a whirlpool. Speak to Moana again and follow her to the boat. Interact with the boat and select each location mentioned to find the whirlpool. I found the whirlpool in East: The Mystery Island Rocks.
Find Floating Planks
Speak to Moana on the boat after locating the whirlpool, and she will instruct you to find planks. I found planks in North: The Mystery Island Wreckage. Pick up the three planks around the boat and speak to Moana again. Return to the whirlpool and place the planks on the boat to get closer to the whirlpool. Use your fishing pole to fish out whatever is inside the whirlpool and return to the island.
Repair the Jewelry Pieces
After returning to the Mysterious Island, you’ll find a crafting table near the dock. Use it to piece together all the jewelry collected. Speak to Moana by the swirling petal wind and give her the crafted jewelry to summon Pocahontas.
