​How to Craft Tier 6 Tools​

The two new tools added to the Dowdun Reach update are the Mithril Logging Axe and the Mithril Pickaxe. Crafting these two tools will require new materials added to the update, such as Mithril Bar, Mystic Threads, Cursed Leather, and Maple Logs.​

How to Get Mithril Bar​

You need to find Mithril Ore to turn it into Mithril Bars at the Blast Furnace. Since Mithril Ore is a brand-new material, I had to explore the map thoroughly to find them around Dowdun Reach. They are especially located around the northeastern section of the Library and the eastern underground section of the Garrison. After mining the ores, take them to the Blast Furnace along with Coal and Fuel Pellets. This will give you Mithril Bars.​

How to Get Mystic Threads​

Mystic Threads require Mystic Fibers to use at the Spinning Wheel. I obtained Mystic Fibers by chance from defeating Zamorak mages and zealots. These enemies are found all across Dowdun Reach. After defeating them, they will drop Zamorakian Mage Packs. These packs have a chance to drop Mystic Fibers. Take the fibers to the Spinning Wheel to get Mystic Threads.​

How to Get Maple Logs​

Maple Logs are dropped from the new Tier 6 Maple Trees found exclusively around Dowdun Reach. This will require the Mithril Logging Axe to chop them down.​

How to Get Cursed Leather​

Cursed Leather is created by using Draconic Leather and Cursed Essence. Draconic Leather is crafted at the tannery by using Dragon Blood and Hard Leather or by using Dragonwolf Hide. Cursed Essence is dropped by demons and also found inside pouches and chests. Take these items to the Tannery to get Cursed Leather.​

How to Craft the Mithril Logging Axe and Mithril Pickaxe​

After obtaining the required materials, make your way to the Smithing Anvil. For the Mithril Logging Axe, you will require:

• 8x Mithril Bars
• 6x Willow Logs
• 4x Mystic Threads

Now that you have the Mithril Logging Axe, you can craft the Mithril Pickaxe. For the Pickaxe, you will require the following:

• 8x Mithril Bars
• 6x Maple Logs
• 4x Cursed Leather
