Fishing is one of the primary activities you get to pick up while playing Seven Deadly Sins: Origins. The most elusive fish that you will be tasked with capturing is the Ghost Guppy. This fish is extremely rare, and there are very few spawn points for this fish in the game.

Best Ghost Guppy Farming Locations
There are two unique locations where I found Ghost Guppies to farm. Both locations are easily accessible after unlocking these regions. The first location that I found very early on is within Wind Cove Waters. Between the Windshore Coast and Breezeshade Vale fast travel points, make your way to the northern section of Aquatree Lake. This is one of the two great spots to fish and get Ghost Guppy.
The second-best location to check out is within the Ferzen region. You will spot a singular stream passing between the Ferzen Mines, Ferzen Mines Entrance, and the Tunnel Entrance fast travel points. This area is quite easy to spot on the map. Head over to the larger section of the stream and start fishing to get more Ghost Guppys.
How to Fish Ghost Guppy
- If you haven’t unlocked fishing yet, progress through Act 1 until Tioreh joins your team. This will unlock the fishing ability to use across any water body.
- Then, you need to craft bait before setting out. Make sure you have a high-level workbench to craft quality bait.
- Visit any of the above two fishing spots and walk as close to the water as possible. You will get the prompt to start fishing.
- Press the required key to cast your line and wait for the fish to bite.
- This will start a mini-game, where you need to place the bar within the yellow gauge at all times.
- Wait for the circle around the fish meter to fill up to catch your fish successfully.
What Does the Ghost Guppy Do
The Ghost Guppy is a requirement to get level 10 for the Path of Exploration. With this, you get to increase the Path of Exploration to the maximum rank in the game. To get this far, you just need to capture 2 ghost guppies to fulfil the objective.

Make sure you have good-quality bait to capture ghost guppies, as these are extremely rare and exquisite fish. If they still don’t spawn, re-login and revisit the above two areas to find them.
Can I consume ghost guppies?
Yes, ghost guppies will give you the following effect once consumed: Restores 250 HP at the cost of 10% chance of getting Food Indigestion. This debuff lasts 30 seconds, and you will lose 2% HP per 3 seconds.
