Some weapons are only meant to be used by Grace, and the same rules apply to Leon. You will not be able to wield guns meant for Leon on Grace’s playthrough, and vice versa.

#2. B934 | Dining Room, Care Center

The pistol is found next to the dining table, with zombies eating the corpses. The overall appeal of B934 lies in its simplicity; it doesn’t do anything but does everything decently.
#3/4. Makeshift Knife, Hunting Knife | Filing Room

Right next to the room, where we found the B934, you will find the Makeshift Knife inside the locker. It has low power and medium durability.
Once you grab the Makeshift Knife, the zombie lying in the room will wake up and start attacking Grace with a knife in his hand. Kill the zombie for him to drop the knife, and you will get the Hunting Knife.

It’s found on the bar counter at the Bar & Lounge section of the Care Center. Another decent entry to the handgun entries in RE9, with nothing special.
#6. Alligator Snapper | Default

#7. MSBG 500 | Attic

The shotgun is found on the floor when you come face-to-face with the Chunk monster in the Attic while playing as Leon. MSGB 500 is a traditional pump-action shotgun that comes with a customized option, so you can take blasting enemies even further.
#8. Hand Grenade | Attic

Defeat the Chunk monster in the Attic while playing as Leon to get the Hand Grenade. Store enough Hand Grenades to create a Stacked Hand Grenade for a bigger explosion.
#9. Molotov Cocktail | Boiler Room

While playing as Grace, head to the small room south of Boiler Room, and you will find the recipe for Molotov Cocktail in the middle of the room. You will also be able to find the item in the Care Center Basement.
#10. Classic 70 | Default

You will get this sniper rifle when you get to the Care Center Courtyard, playing as Leon. This is your classic bolt-action rifle that carries heavy firepower and precision, but is limited by the firing rate.
#11. Gal | Underground Parking Garage

Head to the Underground Parking Garage, East Raccoon City, and you will find the weapon north of the flooded garage area. It’s the same spot where we will find the first battery for the detonator parts.
#12. Marksman 1A | Main Street, Gas Station

This semi-automatic marksman rifle is found inside the BSAA blue container on Main Street, located southeast of the Gas Station, East Raccoon City. Climb the ladder next to the truck to access the container’s door.

Kill the zombies and then recover the marksman rifle inside. The best thing about the gun is its fire rate and reload speed, and lastly, the weapon is highly accurate.
#13. W870 police| Kendo Gun Shop

You will find it inside the Kendo Gun Shop located at the Raccoon City Center. The gun will be on the shelf, and you will get to pick it up right after the cutscene trigger. The gun is a high-firepower-enabled shotgun that is perfect for blasting zombies.
#14. Mortal Edge| ARK

Obtained from the boss fight against the commander. It’s a hatchet or axe, loaded with high durability. The same weapon can be obtained by spending 6000 CP at the Special Content option.
#15. Bottle of acid | ARK

You will find a bottle of Acid in the Chemical Storage section of ARK. Its throwable weapon that does great damage against any enemy with an open wound or tissue.
#16. R.I.P Knife | Parlor

- Cost: 5x Antique Coins
You will get this knife during the Insanity mode difficulty in the Parlor. It ain’t going to be cheap, prepare to fork over 5x Antique Coins to get it.
Purchaseable Weapons (#17 – 19)

All the weapons listed below will unlock for purchase when you reach East Raccoon City, and then head to the Central Camp’s Supply Box to make the purchase.
Note: You will need to have Credits to buy the guns from the store. Credits can be earned by simply killing the zombies.
#17. Silencer 9

Silencer 9 is an overall powerful handgun that comes with an in-built suppressor to lower the noise. It has decent firepower, but most of the other stats are at a good rate. You can hike up the ammo count to 17 to fire as many shots at the enemies.
#18. 990-TAC

- Character: Leon
- Cost: 7000 Credits
- Ammo: 9
990-TAC is a semi-automatic shotgun built for taking out zombies in groups. You also have the option to add a dot light to give the more classic Resident Evil feel to the gun.
#19. Stiri REVO3 A1

- Cost: 6000 Credits
Here we have a high fire rate and low firepower SMG. If you add in the Stock, then you can make the weapon even more precise or accurate on firing.

#20. Freya’s Needle

It is a machine pistol that uses handgun ammo for firing. The gun can be used with one hand and has an amazing firing rate. Think of TMP and how it functioned in Resident Evil 4.

It’s an unbreakable knife option for Grace, but it does have the appearance of a makeshift knife.
#22. Matilda IMP

The classic Matilda is back with a three-round burst fire handgun from RE4. While it does look like a classic handgun, it has SMG-like firing, just like the past Matilda in RE 4.

#24. Redemption

Finally, the holy grail of any RE games, the rocket launcher itself, makes its presence, but you will need to fork over 15,000 CP to get it.

Where can I store weapons while playing as Leon?
Only Grace is allowed to store weapons; Leon has to sell the weapons and rebuy them by paying a certain amount.

How to unlock the unbreakable Knife in RE 9?
You will need to pay 5000 CP to unlock the Kotetsu knife for Grace. It has unlimited durability, but when you do stab a zombie, it will get stuck. Make sure to retrieve it and not to leave it inside the zombie’s head.
Are there any special weapon unlocks after beating the game on the Insanity difficulty?
So far, you will unlock the R.I.P. Knife during the playthrough in the Insanity difficulty. There are no other special guns tied to difficulties, as most of the special guns unlock via the Special Content option.
