Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 is just as enticing as its predecessors, with new puzzles to solve in each area. Very early on, you will be tasked to locate clues for the locker code at the Engineering Workshop. But the code isn’t given to you easily; rather, you need to figure out a way to let the code reveal itself to you.
How to Get Into the Engineering Workshop Control Room
After you exit the shaft, drag one of the boxes on the left and place it next to the wooden racks. You can use the trolley above and grapple up and drop onto the box, or use the crate nearby to climb up and jump across. Then, walk across the wooden racks and jump on top of the red box on your left. After getting down, look above to find a trolley to pull towards the broken steel bridge on the far left side of the room.
Walk back and start pulling the yellow and red boxes towards the bridge right after that. Grapple onto the trolley and land on the boxes and jump across to get on the bridge. After stepping foot on the bridge, walk straight ahead towards the boxes in the end and pick up the power block behind them. Walk into the control room and place the power block inside the slot in the corner of the room, behind the shelves. This will supply power to the locker doors and keypad.
How to Solve the Engineering Workshop Puzzle
Next, you need to find the code to unlock the locker. To do that, head over to the whiteboard in the control room and use your backlight to read a cryptic message. The code will be different for each playthrough, and to figure out the code, you need to note down the two letters that appear on the right. This will be your shelf identification code. The two numbers on the left correspond to the box that you need to investigate to get the code.
Head back down the steel bridge to find the shelves with letter signboards on them. Find the exact same letters as mentioned on the whiteboard. Check the racks to find the correct container with similar numbers as mentioned on the whiteboard. If you can’t see anything, use your backlight to find the numbers. Once you find the container, note down the number code that appears on the container. Return to the keypad and input the three-digit code to unlock the locker door.
