How Get the Goop Sucker in Roadside Research

The easiest way to get on the roof is to purchase the Goop Sucker upgrade from the Alien menu. While interacting with the computer panel in the research room, select the Alien icon and hover your cursor over the topmost row. The Goop Sucker is the second from the right. It will cost $1000 to purchase it, which could be quite steep in the early game.
How to Use the Goop Sucker

To use the Goop Sucker, whenever you spot goop on the floor left behind by you or other aliens, equip the gun, aim, and shoot. It will suck up the goop into the gun and drop out a can of Goop Mojito. Drink the energy drink, and you will spot a Boost Level meter appear below. This will make you jump higher and run faster. To get on the roof specifically, you need to drink 3 – 4 of these cans to increase your Boost Level and jump higher up.
Other Ways to Get on the Roof
The Goop energy drink will be an expensive investment in the early game, so here are some other ways to get on the roof:
- Place shelves near the garage wall and use those to jump up.
- You could place one fuel shelf near the porch and use that to climb up on the signboard to your gas station convenience store.
- If you can’t reach, then use the help of the trashbin lid after climbing up the shelf, then jump towards the signboard and get on the roof.
