HumanitZ – How to Get a Water Bottle
Your first task is to get a water bottle to store water in. The only way to find water bottles is through exploration. You will mainly find it inside kitchens, or by emptying any cola bottles and using those. If you don’t have any luck finding water bottles, then you should start a new game to get a fresh set of item spawns.
How to Get Water
With an empty bottle in your inventory, walk over to any water body and press F to scoop out the water. You get to do this at most water bodies, like ponds, lakes, and the sea. But if you are inland, then you could scoop out water from the toilet, too. That will give you dirty water, which requires purifying.
How to Purify Water
Your next step is to turn the dirty water into clean drinking water. The easiest way to do that is to head over to the campfire barrel, start a fire, and interact with it to get the placement menu. Place the water bottle in the campfire slot to start the purification process. If you have a stove, you could do the same process there, too.
How to Use Purification Tablets
You can also use purification tablets if you end up finding some in the overworld. To use them, you need to have 2x Purification Tablets and 1x Dirty Water bottle in your inventory. Press Tab to enter the crafting menu and select the Water Bottle option to craft 1x clean water bottle.
