The game will not outright drop the items easily; you must complete a certain task in order to get the item as a reward. The entire collection playthrough will take you around 10 to 20 minutes to complete.
Where Winds Meet – Antique Locations in Golden Sands River
There are three antiques you need to eye out for: Well-Digger’s Pendant, Golden Whip, and finally, Desert Bloom Charm. Each one of them has a different way and method for the player to find the item.
#1. Well-Digger’s Pendant Antique
This one will be found inside the broken wall west of Golden Sands River in the Hexi-Jade Gate Pass region.
- Travel to Poplar Bazaar landmark in Golden Sands River, now you have to move southwest from the landmark to reach the area with the dilapidated buildings.
- Here you will find the Yuan-XI pendant inside the broken well. It has a Mastery level of 45.
#2. Golden Whip Antique
We are going to find the Golden Whip Weapon in the same area we found the first one, “Well-Digger’s Pendant.” But there is an extra step to this one; after we find the Golden Whip Weapon, we must reach a certain location to turn it into an antique.
- First move to the same dilapidated building area southwest of the Poplar Bazaar landmark in Golden Sands River. Here is the tallest building, seen in the picture, and you will find the weapon on the top.
Golden Whip Weapon Details: It has a Mastery level of 76 without any other stat details.
- Now travel to the lake south of Horsehelm Village, south of the Hexi region. Tend to the grave in this spot to get the Golden Whip antique.
#3. Desert Bloom Charm Antique
Required Side Quest: A Wellspring of Hope
First, complete the Lost Chapter side quest A Wellspring of Hope to obtain the item Desert Bloom Charm. You will find the quest near Horsehelm Village in Hexi.
Note: You must complete the quest to get the Desert Bloom Charm reward.
Now make your way to the Camel Station landmark fast travel location and have a conversation with Fan Liangji. He will be sitting under a hut near the fast-travel point. Talk to him and exhaust all the dialogues to get the item.

Do I have to go outside to get any of the antiques in Hexi?
No, all three antiques can be found in the Hexi region. But be prepared to walk around a lot, since you will be taking part in quests and jumping from one location to another.
Why am I not getting the Desert Bloom Charm antique from Fan Liangji?
You can wait for Xu for an hour to get the item. Some people have reported seeing the item after waiting for two days in-game time.
