How to get the Necromancer Staff in RuneScape Dragonwilds

All you have to do is get to a specific vault located at Hope’s Fall and interact with an altar inside to obtain the staff.
- First, make your way over to the Fellhollow area, then go through Bleakfields Valley, then follow the path north to Hope’s Fall.
- Once you are near Hope’s Fall, you will come across Vaults on the right. To get a clearer description, you can check out the picture above to pinpoint the exact location of the vault.
The vault is pretty straightforward, with a few enemies scattered in the area. Once you are in the vault, make your way through the Spectral Door; you can’t miss it, as it is wrapped in a blue glowing hue. All you have to do is interact with the Dragonkin Effigy altar in the area to obtain the Necromancer Staff.
FAQs
Why Choose the Necromancer Staff?
While you can use any ranged weapon to deal with the new enemies, the reason why the staff is the best choice is that does better rune damage compared to the previous weapons of this type in the game. The ranged playstyle also helps you avoid the rot debuff that enemies tend to give when they die and explode in this new update.
How difficult is the Vault with the Necromancer Staff?
You will not have to deal with any bosses in the vault, but prepare your weapon to take care of the fodder enemies to get the weapon. Just interacting with the altar at the end of the vault can get you the weapon.
Should I use Crystal Bow or switch to Staff?
The favorite Crystal Bow got nerfed in the latest update, and the Shattershot doesn’t stagger enemies anymore. So it is better if you make a switch to the Necromancer Staff than try your luck with the Crystal Bow.
