Pacts will immensely boost your offensive and defensive potential of the equipment, making the gear perfect for the endgame grind. Since the horde at Risk Level 6 will get bigger and tougher, you must use Pact and utilize its effect on your equipment to stand a chance against the zombie horde.
Getting a Pact

First, you will need a Pact, which can only be obtained by beating a boss on Risk Level 6. You can find more information regarding the difficulty by checking our guide on this topic.
Note: Only bosses on Risk Level 6 will drop Pacts on the ground after being defeated.
When you pick up the Pact off the ground, it will take up a slot in your inventory. You can’t equip it right away; you must take it to the hub area and talk to Artisan to get started.
Using the Pact

If you look at the picture above, I received Divine Contract: Lightning Pact from a boss drop. One thing you should note is the Pact Slot details, which list Goggles\Wristband\Chip. This means the Pact “Divine Contract: Lightning” will require the use of the Goggle, Wristband, and Chip to craft.
- Drag the Pact from your inventory to the Pact slot on the Pact menu on the left. Now drag the required equipment for Divine Contract: Lightning Pact, which includes the Goggle, Wristband, and Chip.
- Click on Craft to add the Pact’s Effect to the equipment.
Once crafted, you can view the item, and you will find the Pact’s Effect on the item. The catch, here, is that if you remove the set item, then the Pact Effect will deactivate.
I used Goggles, Wristband, and Chip, all three act as a set to activate the “Divine Contract: Lightning” Pact’s Effect. 3/3 equipment (Goggles, Wristband, and Chip) is required to activate the Pact’s Effect; removing one will deactivate the Pact’s Effect. So always be careful when selecting the right equipment for the Pact addition.
FAQs
How much does crafting a Pact cost in R.I.P?
Crafting a Pact will not be free; you will need 10,000 Credits, 60x Basic Essence, and 3x Advanced Essence to craft a Pact for the equipment.
Where can I obtain Pact in R.I.P?
Defeating bosses is the only way to obtain a Pact. Remember, bosses on the Risk Level 6 map will drop Pacts after defeat. Random Hunt requires you to invest a Corrupted Crystal to enter, which can be earned by defeating bosses on Risk Level 5 or 6.
Can I use Pact’s Effect on any equipment?
No, Pact’s Effect can only be added to its list of required equipment. You can check the Pact’s Slot to get the idea of the type of equipment needed for Pact crafting.
