PurposeUsed to activate helicopter airdrops that contain supply crates with useful materials.

    Radio Tower Location

To locate the Radio Tower in Humanitz, spawn into the game and open the Former Survivor Letter inside your inventory. This will mark the Tower’s location on your map, highlighted by a green circle, as shown in the image above. Once you’ve located it, all you need to do is make your way to it.

However, beware, since you’ll face hordes of zeeks and zombie dogs on your journey ahead. Zeeks are easy to avoid thanks to their slow mobility, but zombie dogs can catch up to you pretty quickly. So avoid the zeeks, and take care of the zombie dogs to clear the path ahead. It’s best if you use a car or a horse to avoid the hordes entirely.

At the Tower, you’ll face another horde of zeeks behind the military blockade. At the bottom of the Tower, you’ll encounter a special type of zeek, surrounded by green smoke. These zeeks can inflict poison damage and deplete your health over time if you’re not careful.

Defeat them, and move away as soon as you can, since their corpse leave a green toxic puddle, which deals poisonous damage when stepped on. Wait for the green puddle to dissipate, then make your way to the Radio Tower. Next, you need to repair the Tower to use it effectively.

    Radio Tower Repair Requirements

Head to the Tower’s control panel and interact with it to check what you need to repair it. Here are all the materials you need to fix the Tower, along with where to find them in HumanitZ.

    • 1x Car Battery:  Found inside Storage Behind Vehicles, Auto Shop Crate, Locker, and Trader. The best spot to find Car Batteries is at the Auto Shop in D4.
    • 1x Electronics: Found inside Abandoned Cars, Auto Shops, Garages, and Computers.
    • 1x Electrical Cable: Found inside Auto Shops and Abandoned Cars around the map.
    • 1x Radio Receiver: Found at a small Music store in a small town on the Left City border, located to the east of the Radio Tower.

Once you’ve gathered all required materials, interact with the control panel inside the Tower again to fix the structure once and for all, which brings us to the final topic: what do you use the Tower for?

How to Use the Radio Tower

The Radio Tower is primarily used for activating airdrops with supply crates around the map. These supply drops are indicated by helicopter sounds through the radio, which mark the airdrops’ location on the map, highlighted by a red circle.

These supply crates contain useful materials such as medicines, weapons, and more, which will boost survival momentum from early-to-late game. Furthermore, you can change the frequency of airdrops in the Settings menu if you’re a server admin of a specific multiplayer server in HumanitZ.
