How to Start Building Your Deck

You need to get your starter deck first before you can do anything else in TCG Card Shop Simulator. To build a deck, you need to unlock the Workbench. You can buy it from the DIY store. In case you haven’t learnt where to navigate and find the store, bring up your phone and select the My DIY icon.
Scroll down until you find the Workbench for $1000. Place it anywhere in your store and interact with it to start building your deck. Select the Deck Edit option, and you can either create a new deck or select any existing decks available.
Selecting Your Cards
When building a fresh deck in TCG Card Shop Simulator, I recommend owning at least 4 of the basic variants of a card type and having just 1 or 2 evolution cards of that particular card type. That way, it’s easier to pick up your basic cards during tournaments rather than wait for them to appear.
While picking your cards, it’s easier if you sort them by type so all the base and evolution cards are clubbed together. You can check out each card before purchasing them to see which ones work for your deck. I suggest keeping a few strong basic cards in the mix, even if they don’t have an evolution tied to them.
You can use them when you have weak basic cards showing up, so you don’t waste a lot of time in tournaments.
How to Read Your Deck

Once you have filled your deck with cards, you need to sort them out by how much importance you give them. Each card comes with different elemental types, and the four main elements are:
- Fire
- Earth
- Water
- Air
All cards will show all four elements at the bottom of the card, but you need to look out for the amount beside each element. When inspecting a card, take a look at the digits beside each element at the bottom of the card.
If the numbers are higher than the others, then that card will deal more damage pertaining to that particular element. Some cards can deal damage from more than one element, depending on how high a number they have.
On your right, you will get several different sections. The topmost colored squares indicate how many cards you own of that particular element. The numbers in the boxes below the element row indicate the highest and lowest damage per element your current deck can create.
Starting a Match

Once you have your deck in order, you can go ahead and sit down with someone available at the table. As soon as you sit down, right-click on the table to start the turn order. Once the two cards on the table are done shuffling, pick any of them to get either the first turn or second turn. Then, your deck will be dealt to you, and you can check your given cards.
If you are not satisfied with your cards, pick the Mulligan option, or else select the option to keep them. Selecting Mulligan will hand over a fresh starting set of cards, but you will only get one chance to do this. The cards being dealt later could be better or worse than your existing hand, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Playing the Match
Once the match has started, whoever obtained the first turn needs to play first. Unfortunately, you can only place your basic cards during this turn and can’t use evolutions until the next turn. Put down your strongest basic cards and select the End Turn option once satisfied.
While picking the cards, keep an eye on your opponent’s elemental counter as well as yours. Your aim here is to reduce the other side’s elemental attacks by countering with your own cards. I would suggest starting the match with your strongest cards, then ending the turn and using evolution cards the next turn.
The more evolution cards you stack on your basic card, the more serious the damage will be. Duplicate cards will double or triple their damage, depending on how many cards of the same type are there. Also, some elements can trigger debuffs, such as using a Water type against the opponent to create Ice.
If you wish to go through the cards you removed earlier, you can check the Discard Pile nearby to know which cards can’t be used again.
