How to Get and Upgrade Caravans

Speak to the Carpentry Vendor at any node to find Caravan parts to add to your existing Caravan. Each Caravan part will require some sort of crafting material, so check out the Carpentry menu to find all your required crafting resources.
How to Load a Caravan
You need to purchase a crate from the Crate Peddler at any node and fill them with resources for transport. There are various types of crates available, depending on how many goods you wish to store and transport. You also need to keep an eye on your caravan size to fit the crate. Once you have your crate, follow the steps below.
- Speak to the Caravan Master after obtaining your goods to sell
- Select the Cargo Storage option.
- Right click on the crate from your inventory and start adding items to it.
- Seal the crate to add it to your Caravan.

How to Launch Caravans
Once your caravan is loaded up, from the Caravan Master menu, you will get the option to Launch it. The best place to launch the caravan is as far away from the settlement as possible. This helps prevent other players from spotting you. While placing your caravan, look around for a blue crystal barrier, as this will be the best spot to place the caravan.
How to Turn Caravan into a Raft
Step over to any nearby water source and click on the convert to water raft icon at the bottom of the screen. This will convert your caravan into a raft. To turn back into a caravan, click on the convert to ground caravan icon at the bottom of the screen to get your caravan back.
