ARC Raiders – Dust on the Wires Quest Guide

ARC Raiders’ Flashpoint Update will welcome you with a bunch of new additions, including new quests. The “Dust on the Wires” quest is one of the first quests in this update, and has you taking a quick trip to Eastern Spaceport in search of Shani’s scout group.

I’d advise you to equip the Looting Mk. 3 (Safekeeper) Augment for this, as you need to safekeep and bring back a specific note to Shani by the end of this quest. There’s no combat involved with this quest, and here’s how to complete it easily.

ARC Raiders – Dust on the Wires Quest Overview

Visit Any Field Depot in Eastern Spaceport

Field Depots are common locations in ARC Raiders, and you’ve probably had your fair share of fights in these locations. However, the objective requires you to be very specific and visit a Field Depot that’s located on the eastern side of the Spaceport map.

There are three Field Depots in eastern Seaport, and you can visit any of them to complete this objective. These Field Depots are basically giant rusty containers, so if you’re unaware of what a Field Depot looks like, now you know.

Head to any Field Depot, as marked in the image above, to complete your first “Dust on the Wires” objective in ARC Raiders. I recommend visiting the one that’s closest to the Maintenance Hangar, directly to the left of the area.

Use the Field Radio to Transmit the Scout Group’s Last Log to Shani

At the end of a Field Depot, interact with the yellow Field Radio to transmit the scout group’s last log to Shani. It doesn’t matter which Field Depot you’re in, as long as you’re inside one that’s located on the eastern side of Spaceport.

Use the Terminal in the old Raider Tower north of Maintenance Hangar

Next, head to the Maintenance Hangar located between Fuel Storage and Staff Parking in southern Spaceport. Then, find the Raider Tower north of the Maintenance Hangar, as shown by the marker in the image above. Climb the old Raider Tower and interact with the yellow terminal inside to complete this ARC Raiders objective.

Find the Scout Patrol’s Traces Near the Maintenance Hangar

Luckily, the next ARC Raiders objective is near the Maintenance Hangar, which is around an 80m walk back from the Raider Tower, as marked in the image above.

Search the Remains Left by Scouts

Follow the path on the side of the Maintenance Hangar to encounter a bunch of destroyed trolleys in the middle of the road. You’ll be asked to transmit your location from that area.

Then, you’ll be prompted to search the remains left by scouts. Walk a few steps ahead and interact with the upturned trolley in front of you to obtain the Scout Patrol Note and complete this ARC Raiders objective.

Deliver the Scout Patrol Note to Shani

Now, all you need to do is run for your life, safely locate an extraction point and return to Speranza Base. At Speranza, have a quick chat with Shani and turn in the Scout Patrol Note to complete this quest.

Since all of this needs to be done in one round, I recommend having the Looting Mk. 3 (Safekeeper) Augment to store the Scout Patrol Note in your Safe Pocket and save yourself the hassle of redoing this quest if push comes to shove.

What rewards do I get for completing this quest?

You’ll obtain the Fax Machine Backpack Attachment for completing the “Dust on the Wires” quest in ARC Raiders.

I searched the remains, but the quest is incomplete. What do I do?

If you searched the remains and extracted back to Speranze, the quest will remain incomplete since the final objective requires you to deliver the Scout Patrol Note to Shani. So, after interacting with the remains left by scouts, wait for a few seconds to spawn the Scout Patrol Note, then pick it up and look for extraction.

Can I do the objectives for this quest in different rounds?

No, the quest states that you must complete all six objectives in one round. If you die while progressing through an objective, you need to redo the entire questline.
