How to Unlock Hobbies
You get to unlock hobbies as you keep playing Heartopia.
- After completing the tutorial, you will unlock two new hobbies: Gardening and Fishing.
- Later on, once you have earned a Hobby Expansion Ticket at level 6, you get to pick one out of three other hobbies.
- These include Insect Catching, Birdwatching, or Cooking.
- You need to meet the respective mentor and hand over your Hobby Expansion Ticket to unlock the third hobby.
- Don’t worry about making a choice here, as you get to unlock the other two hobbies after collecting more Hobby Expansion Tickets, so there are no wrong choices.
- Finally, at level 12, you need to pick between Cat Care orDog Care as your fourth hobby choice.
How to Get Hobby Points
To get points within your hobby, you need to partake in said hobby and grind for them. Points are awarded each time you do something successful or extraordinary within your hobby. Successfully growing new crops, catching new fish, or finding new animals will give you points. Also, obtaining more wins than fails within your hobby will give you points.
How to Upgrade Hobbies
Once you have earned the necessary points to upgrade to the next hobby level, you will require another unique item: the Hobby Upgrade Ticket. These Upgrade Tickets are rare to get, but there are a few different ways to farm them.
- Rewarded for leveling up.
- Completing Collections.
- Completing Town Guide missions.
Different hobbies will require varying amounts of tickets, depending on the level they are in. Once you have obtained the required Upgrade Tickets, click on the phone icon on your screen and select the Hobby option. Select your hobby to level up and click on the Upgrade option at the bottom of the screen to upgrade your hobby.
