Hytale – All Petals and How to Get

By Jordan BlakeJanuary 17, 20263 Mins Read

    Key Points

    • Rare petals are essential for advanced potions in Hytale, with Azure, Storm, and Blood Petals being the hardest to find compared to common petal colors.
    • Each rare petal spawns in specific biomes and conditions, such as underwater zones, post-thunderstorms, or nighttime environments.
    • Petals can only be harvested using a hatchet, not a pickaxe.

When you start making potions in Hytale, you’ll come across requirements to get certain types of flower petals. While most colors, such as white, yellow, and green petals, are easy to find, some are not so easy to spot. The most difficult types to find are Azure petals, Storm petals, and Blood petals. In this guide, we’ll explain how you can easily find them.

How to Find Azure Petals in Hytale

    Azure Kelp Hytale

Head over to the water bodies in the blue-colored biomes in Emerald Grove or to the oasis biomes in the Howling Sands to farm for Azure Petals.

In these biomes, you’ll find Azure Kelp growing under the water. If you use a pickaxe on them, you’ll collect the entire flower. However, if you use a hatchet on it, you’ll collect Azure Petals as a result. These can be used to upgrade your Workbench and materials.

How to Find Storm Petals in Hytale

Another hard-to-find petal is the Storm Petals. As the name suggests, these grow after there has been a thunderstorm. These can be found in the Howling Sands zone, specifically near the sand mountains after a storm.

If they spawn near you, you’ll notice them quickly as they will be glowing in bright yellow colors. Use your hatchet to collect Storm Petals once you find them. These Strom Petals will help you craft stamina potions.

How to Find Blood Petals in Hytale

    Petals in Hytale

The Blood Petals are usually found in the Devastated Lands zone. However, they also spawn in the Emerald Grove zone during the night. So be sure to look out for glowing red flowers near your spawn at night. These Blood Petals will help you craft healing potions, so use them effectively.

    FAQs

Why am I not able to collect rare petals?

A hatchet should be used to harvest petals, as other tools like pickaxes may yield the whole flower instead.

Where can you find Azure Petals in Hytale?

Azure Petals are found underwater as Azure Kelp within Emerald Grove and Howling Sands.

Why I’m not able to find Storm Petals in Hytale?

Storm Petals only appear after a thunderstorm in the Howling Sands, typically near sand mountains, and glow bright yellow when active.

What are Blood Petals used for in Hytale?

Blood Petals are used to craft healing potions and can be found in the Devastated Lands or in Emerald Grove during nighttime.
